Yes, sis. I use edge control on my ends, too 😂. Seals them up and I've not had a split end since i started using it after twisting or braiding.

When you mentioned what protein overload did to your hair you reminded me of the youtuber Curly Hair Crisis. She ended up having to cut her hair off completely and start again. Her hair matted and LOCKED. Be careful with protein. I'm gonna buy that brush now. One quarter of your hair is how much I have covering my whole head!! What a BLESSING our Lord gave you!

I love the Unbrush. But I've had success with the Tangle Teaser & Aveda Paddle Brush. What made me get an Unbrush is because of it's open design makes it easier to clean & doesn't collect mold. I live in South Korea & the humidity here is off the charts (from Florida but it's worse in Korea). & The other brushes just get dirty faster & need to be replaced more often. I also like how the bristles are thicker & don't have those little ballies on top.

I only bought it after seeing several of the black Yotubers that I trust used it. Otherwise, I don't trust all reviews. But this thing really works. I am just amazed that my hair is actually detangled after using it after not combing my hair for days. It isn't even one of those fancy looking brushes that can be really expensive.

Yes Cecred recommends it like that for hair that is actively damaged (chemical and heat) and needs major repair. You are maintaining hair that is already healthy. The protocol is very different. More is not more. Also, the rice and rose ritual is meant to be used once every 3-4 MONTHS it is a salon level intense treatment with active ingredients. The package will last a year (I think they should increase the amount of step 2) But I think it's rare that you would ever need more than the reconstructing mask since you don't have more than mild heat use. Your review was fair though. Not everyone will know that or see every educational video Cecred drops.

I use the Unbrush on my kids’ hair but I must be doing something wrong that I still end up having to physically pull apart some tangles on my own. This is after conditioning their hair and adding leave-in conditioner.

yeah i think while u can use them together, it's just not smth you should do often if at all for some people. Honestly cecred shouldn't have linked them together, because not everyone would know that keratin is also a protein and that's not ur fault u didnt know! I havent tried the unbrush, i'm sure it's a great brush, i wish it were like 5-7 dollars cheaper because i don't rlly care for how the material feels

I put my hair in chunky two strand twists and sleep in a bonnet :) let your hair dry a little first or sleep with a towel on your pillow!

they have a new unbrush with longer bristles that’s a lot better for thicker hair. it’s called the unbrush plus, same price as the original. i plan on picking one up to try. beautiful hair. 🤍

I bought the new one and I didn't like it. The way the bristles are arranged it kind of ripped out hair. I like the original Unbrush better and will continue to use that one and probably get an extra one to have on hand in case it breaks or for travel. My hair is similar to hers for reference.
