There's a vast difference between acknowledging a person's talent/artistic repertoire and celebrating his life choices. As a cinema enthusiast, I fully recognize Woody Allen as the respected director that he is - nothing more, nothing less. Referencing his personal history is irrelevant and does nothing more than start unnecessary dialogue about events no one has proper insight on.
