Some great tips here! Waterproof spray on sneakers helps, but I was glad to have my waterproof duck shoes. Clunky and heavy but worth it. If you wear glasses, a hat that can keep the rain off your lenses is helpful. Also, lined waterproof pants were great for the really cold, wet days, and a waterproof phone lanyard came in handy too. Also, coins are sometimes needed for using the bathroom in port, I found that out in Bruges. Also, I was asked for my 4 digit pin for my credit card for a purchase over $50, so I was glad I had been warned about that before I left home! Love your travel folder!

In Europe, I ran into problems with one card, even on very small purchases. I alerted them that I was traveling. When I tried to buy a train ticket using that card, it wanted a pin I now have a pin!

We have used Delsey for years for our checked luggage as well as our carry-ons. They have taken a beating for sure but they are still rolling along. lol

These are great items to have! Some we do have but we don’t have the plug. Maybe one day we would need it to travel to Italy after Rogers retirement sometime after August 31st 2026! We love you guys!!

Why would the UK have European or American plug sockets ? America doesn’t.
