Im sure anyone here in someway can understand this song in there own way but I believe it truly embodies the feeling of falling in love while knowing that one day, either through death, loss or heartbreak things will end… at least in this life. But the love was still always there. People change. Feelings change. It doesn’t mean that the love once shared wasn’t true and real. It simply just means that sometimes when people grow, they grow apart.

Our love's for real How'd it take a long, long time To let us feel? Try to relate In my state And the aura 'round me says "My love is for real" Touching your face How'd it take a long, long time To be here? Turning the wheel on my street My heart still skips a beat It's echoing, echoing, echoing, echoing, echoing, echoing Baby, baby, baby I've been searching for you I wanted to be in love Baby, baby, baby I've been waiting, waiting, waiting My whole life for someone like you It's true that everyone would like to have met A love so real A love so real Baby, baby, baby I've been searching for you I wanted to be in love Baby, baby, baby I've been waiting, waiting, waiting My whole life for someone like you It's true that everyone would like to have met A love so real A love so real A love so real Our love so real

When art touches your soul and allows you to recognize and become so well connected to your feelings I think we can agree to call that art “great”. This song is great art since it allows so many of us to instantly be connected to our feelings even though we may wish to sometimes avoid that feeling. Reconciling the permanent lose of the love of my life is somewhat easier when music such as this plays in my heart and allows my truth to be felt and see the light of day. That experience makes me a more complete and balanced human being and that is great art. I’d give my life to touch her face.

this makes me feel like i'm canoeing with my family down a river as the sun sets, but i've fallen asleep somehow and when i blink back awake i've drifted off all alone. and it's hot and muddy and deathly quiet. all i hear are the crickets chirping and water sloshing around my boat, i'm floating away towards a grafitti-ed underpass. i'm completely at peace because i'm only half awake and the water is so still and soothing, but i know that eventually i will have to start panicking, if i ever snap out of it.

I was swimming in my creek yesterday evening in total ecstasy and then my sandals floated away. I knew it would be an absolute bitch to climb out of the water on those slippery rocks but I wasn't ready to kill the vibe. This has such a special and extremally rare vibe. It's rooted in folk mysticism and the deep caverns of the heart. This song joins the ranks of only a handful of songs that capture this specific magic and passion em8inating like a blazing sun from her soul. Get to close to such passion and it can be dangerous. In many ways as we know what it is to be broken hearted, but also what ends some would go to over any of it ... it's a roll of the dice. You cant know until your in that spot. The mystery of it all ... of the heart.
