I remember seeing Chester for the first time live when he was fronting Stone Temple Pilots. I went into the show with doubt and skepticism: there was no way this "Nu-Metal" screamer was going to be able to pull off covering Scott Weiland's grunge vocals. Boy was I wrong... By the end of the second song, Chester didn't have a dry stitch of clothes on his body. This man put every single ounce of his energy into singing. It was when he belted the chorus to Big Empty, I knew I had witnessed something special. "Time to take her home, her dizzy head is conscience laden" Rest In Peace, Chester. You're gone but you'll never be forgotten. I'll keep the memory of watching you on that stage close to my heart for the rest of my days.

booboo isme I remember seeing them come on before Korn in Chicago at a summerfest. I was so excited because I loved them. Chester definitely put every ounce of strength and talent into his singing. They were amazing. I remember thinking how is Korn going to even come close to that performance, because they had sucked every time I saw them before. Jonathan never sounded like he did on the albums. Well when Korn went on I was pleasantly surprised that they put on a better performance than I had seen previously. I know they stepped up their game because of Chester and LP's greatness...now they will go back to being mediocre at concerts...no one to left to encourage them to give it their all😢

I hate how much people hated One More Light as an album when it came out - I thought it was a little polarising but easy listening with amazing musicianship and incredible lyrics. Since Chester’s passing, it only enriches the entire album’s experience for me. The saddest part is that Chester probably died thinking everyone hated that album, when it was great. Sharp Edges was definitely one of my favourites on it and I remember listening to it on repeat after Chester’s passing. Will never forget the impact of this man and LP on my younger years leading up to my adulthood

On July 21st (2 am) when i was about to sleep after a tough day, i saw a post of my friend stating miss you Chester, i had no words! I remembered the day when the first heard you !! I prayed each and every fucking sec typing in google ( god tell that its a hoax) but than....... .... The next 5 hours were suffocating!!! He was one of a very short list of singers that could do an entire tour and still sound like he did in the studio recording.
