You know what's great about your videos, Jim? You show us just enough about these features to make us aware of them, and take away the hurdle to trying them! Thank you!

Don, That's very nice of you to say. I guess I figure most of the users will be able to do complex editing with the features as long as I cover some of the basics. Others can take their creativity and go far beyond what I show. But it's nice to know I can be a helpful voice in the process. Thanks again, Don. --Jim

Wonderful video. Thank you for the "one frame between captions" tip. I was also wondering if there is an option on 365 version so that if you burn a DVD you can turn subtitles On or Off like they have on DVD movies? (Update: I found the tutorial for this on your home page, "How to create subtitles: Part 1" Thank you!!!!)

I found this: "There are two types of subtitles available in PowerDirector: subtitles for discs and subtitles that are imprinted on a video file. If you select the Create subtitles for discs option, the video and subtitles are separate, which means you can turn the subtitles on or off in the disc menu. If you choose the Create subtitles imprinted on a video file option, the subtitles are imprinted on the video, which means they become a part of the video." Hope that helps. --Jim

you know is powerdirector claim his music is royalty free to use at youtube. but why youtube claim it? you know is royalty free or not? what is ur comment? maybe u can make a content for that about music. we pay for 365 subs but cannot use that music as background music. for what? is cyberlink scam us or what

If you visit the Cyberlink Forum, you will see much conversation about this. From what I can tell, the issue is not so much with Cyberlink as it is with the way KZbin attempts to make sure there are no copyright infringements. Anybody in the world can make a copyright claim about the use of material. KZbin's default is to declare they are accurate and fault the creator with the media. It is frequently a "guilty until proven innocent" approach. When creators object and assert that the material is not a copyright violation, a correction is often made. It's a hassle because it takes time and energy. I do believe that the developers have vetted the material that comes as part of the subscription program. Unfortunately, the automated processes that work within KZbin that often have little human input because of the massive volume of uploads per minute don't always play well with licensed content that is legitimate. --Jim
