Love your reaction. Basically felt the same way watching this episode. The Bear does sound so well, the background noises of kitchen activity, the printer constantly going off, combined with the soundtrack, all pure stress inducing. Also commenting "One take" before everybody lol

Yup, if you've ever worked in a kitchen you know the only way to get out of the fucking shit when that happens is to shut up, do what you have to do, and filter out all the yelling and the cursing and the insults and only listen to the calls. Once it's over nobody really gives a damn about who called who names during rush

It’s a one shot, but some versions seem to have the black screen for commercial breaks. The version I saw didn’t have the black screen and it was a smooth shot the entire episode. Your reaction was amazing and I love how you said you gave Sydney the benefit of the doubt. You hit the nail on the head. That is the discrepancy I see with some reactions to the show. People NEVER EVER give Sydney the benefit of the doubt, but these same people literally say to give Richie and Carmen the benefit of the doubt. I will say, the lack of grace for Sydney is not unique to her character in this show. Instances with another character occur later. Carmen bleeping lost his mind and all his unprocessed emotions came out in the worst way. Lit a match to the relationships he built over the season. I also appreciate both Carmy and Richie realize they pushed Sydney too far after the stabbing. Carmy says Richie probably deserved it and Richie says maybe. Richie also does not go after Syd for the stabbing. He was actually practical and helpful in an emergency. When Sydney quits, you hear the panic in Carmen’s voice as he realized he went way past Sydney’s limit. Sydney, who he knows deeply admires him, put up with far too much. Marcus, while focused on the wrong thing looked like he was gonna cry. I appreciate Carmen ate the donut off the floor as he was coming down from his rage. He really does care. 🤣🤣🤣 I appreciate that Sydney stood up for herself. Upon rewatch, I notice a few points where Carmy didn’t listen to her, over loaded her and didn’t give the support she needed. If certain people bothered to learn the tablet, they would have caught her mistake. Which Carmen did say mistakes happen in an earlier episode. I can only imagine what Louie was thinking. What a crazy episode. The sound of the dreaded ticket printer through the credits, omg. 🤣🤣🤣 Every time I see a sharpie I burst out laughing. Got a new subscriber. Great reaction.

This episode was unreal, the entire thing was one long take, in such a small environment, and yet it's perfect chaos: you can follow everything that's happening at all times, so at all times you know exactly just how much worse things are getting by the second

Also, I ain't gonna tell sidney to back down from what she was saying to richie, he's been sexually harassing and bullying her since the day she started, i dont' believe she stabbed him in the ass on purpose, but if she did it would have been deserved.
