48773 is oiled ready for the trip to Kidderminster, D4100 shunts 4566 into The Engine House, D9551 passes on a service train and finally 33108 heads away with the 8F. More to follow......

Oh and to add, I would like to check the SVR Rulebook to peruse the validity of a person dismounting a moving vehicle as the Shunter is seen to do when the Small Prairie is being propelled towards the Engine House Headshunt...

Goodness gracious me!! The SVR openly deterred people from visiting the area yet here we have a cast of thousands to do a shunt! One or two are seen doing bugger all apart from sit on a grassy mound or hang on a fence! Utter disgrace. Hope many of these were volunteering else this was a damned expensive undertaking that is for sure!

Anyway you need lots off people to do that shunt because it's not an ordinary shunt and it is in highly engine house where lots off shutters are needed on both sides to assist the driver and guide him in and I don't appreciate you bad mouthing SVR vollenters just because off your stupid opinion

Josh, in my opinion to which I am more than entitled there were more people there than necessary. Some, quite obviously, there to be seen than to assist. Also, I must comment, your spelling is atrocious. Again my own opinion to which I am entitled be you like it or not.

It was quite clear to see that shunting was controlled by a mix of both hand signals and radio communication. This then would mean the Shunter could stand in a place of safety and visibility and would reduce the need for the vast numbers you seem to believe to be required.
