ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

we are like waaaaaaaaaaaaay far to compare this to the marvel select (in terms of paint and sculpt) marvel select starts to become loose after just minutes of posing so i don't prefer loose and wobbly figures but in terms of look the proportions the paint and sculpt on the select can't be compared for my personal opinion. i agree this ML looks sick but the torso is weird and that's the only problem that i have

Definitely a badass new Carnage! I'm loving that new headsculpt and how the black tendrils are sculpted on top of the figure throughout. I wish this one came with the morphing Ax accessory with newly sculpted black tendrils on it too.

My Venom on my display is the Toybiz Spider-man Classics version, which has all the sculpted goopy symbiote details, so I’m very excited to get this new Carnage to aesthetically match that venom.i thought about getting the Toybiz one or the Revoltech, but for $20 this new figure is definitely the way to go for me

Yeah... I'm right there with ya Shart, I still need to read through Absolute Carnage as well. I bought at least one of every individual issue, including the build up books for the Absolute Carnage run. But, I have not yet sat down to read it all. I still have my original Comic Check list all marked off for that series, it's one of the few times I've went all in collecting every book for a run like that... Now I just have to sit down and start reading it.

Eh. After seeing the comparison of this guy to venom, i just realized how much i want habro to release a grendel symbiote figure some time in the future. Like, if you've read absolute carnage, you know who. Not carnage bonded with osborn, but the grendel dragon symbiote bonded with the weird, skeletal, freakishly tall cletus kasady, who actually kinda towered over venom (which is what i was reminded of during the size comparison.) I picked up and reread some of absolute carnage earlier today so i still have that panel fresh on my mind. It would be really cool to maybe get him as a BAF. I know it sounds like i'm complaining, but i'm not. I'm so excited for this wave and can't wait to go out and get in November (cuz i dont have a credit card and havent preordered it.)

After giving mine a deeper red paint job I went over the black just to touch things up. Do not look at this figure with a magnifying glass. If your like me you'll spend the next 30 min painting every missed vein. Tedious but a blood red Carnage is sooo much nicer. Next bit of punishment may be inking the muscle tendons so they pop more. They did such an amazing job, I just really want a Woody Harleson head now.

Holy shit this Carnage is awesome. With all that extra sculpting it really does look like a flayed body, which is what was intended when Carnage was created. Come on Amazon canada, hurry up! I need this D:. On top of it, I wonder how the Venompool head looks on the monster Venom... Paint the red black, the black white... another reason to get it. Now that its on Amazon Canada I am trying to wait for Devastator to pop up to order them together. There should be an option to give youtubers a commission on Amazon.
