ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I totally agree with you, it was WAY MORE FUN when Transformers came packaged in altmode, "discovering" the robot mode was really special :( And yes, I'd love more TF reviews, as someone who can't afford to support on Patreon, it makes me kinda sad that the Ironhide review is a Patreon exclusive :(

Thanks for the feedback man! And not to worry about the Ironhide review. It's a different style of reviewing that's way simpler, and less thorough than these kind of reviews of the channel. It's a face-to-face video kind of like Thew's reviews . . . but way worse! Also, look at it like this. For those that do extra for the channel, I gotta give back and do something extra for them. I love this figure. Both modes are very clean and well executed. It’s also not a hollow figure. The kibble is also not obtrusive. It works with the figure and anything that gets tucked away is done so creatively.

same. this voyager optimus is probably the best official non-masterpiece figure we have gotten in a very long time. i love how the voyager in this line has now hollowness in the arms and legs like you mentioned. even the deluxes and the leaders in the siege line cant compare with their awful hollow cut outs in the legs and arms.

PLEASE DO AS MUCH OF THIS LINE AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!! I am loving this set a lot so far and want to know your thoughts on the others. Hound is fun, Sideswipe is simple but sharp, COG is a fun little bot, Skytread is a lot of fun, and Megatron is an impressive figure as well

This is the best transformers line ever IMO. I already grabbed all 4 deluxes, optimus, shockwave, the jet micromasters and I plan to get soundwave and starscream as soon as they come out

starscream's tetrajet mode looks sick. soundwave's alt mode is kinda iffy, but then again, i care more about the robot mode, so both are nice too

you know this siege voyager optimus prime actually has better proportion than the masterpiece/mp10 mold. the mp10's legs are too short and arms are too long. siege optimus has the more perfect proportions.

I'm hesitating, should I pick the Transformers Siege Optimus Prime Voyager Class or the Transformers Generations : Power of the Primes : Leader Class : Optimus Prime ?

this one hands down, here's why: first of all, POTP figure is too big to scale with ur other figures. Second, the joints on POTP optimus is not as tight as siege optimus, but he is more massive, so the joint cannot support the figure well, creating less pose-ability. Third, the vehicle mode of POTP optimus is super incomplete with orion's pax's arms clearly sticking out back in truck mode. Fourth, both are representations of a g1 optimus, but the siege optimus nails the look better with proper proportions and less kibble. Quality wise, POTP optimus is 50 bux with a bunch of hollowness in the arms and legs whereas this siege optimus is 30 bux with little to no hollowness anywhere on the figure. i could go on, but i think these reasons should be convincing enough.

From the front it looks great, but those weird forearms and that back flap kind of bring it down for me. If Hasbro could have figured out a way to solve that, this could have been one of the best Prime figures. As it is, it's still really good.

save your money. it scales smaller than both siege voyager optimus and megatron, comes with a bunch of unecessary junk that makes no sense, so that hasbro can sell it for $50 as a leader class toy. plus.....tons and tons of parts-forming.
