The people of the South says that Aryans invaded and destroyed the Indus Valley Civilisations which is not True........If India was inhabited by the Original Natives whom they call Dravidians then it was them who gave Birth to Aryans when they Invaded and killed all the Male Population of Eastern and Central Europe. There has been Mass Grave of European Men found in the Eastern Europe. They now claim that the Europe was Invaded by a Barbaric Tribe who came from the East around 4500 to 5000 years ago. Guess who that tribesmen were.........they were Indians who migrated to the Central Asia. It is their Genes which was passed on to the Present day Europeans when they took European Females captives and slaves. That's why our Genes match.

Best part of the debate at 57:27 mark! Sai Deepak does have a fresh and vibrant mind, however his arguments are tricking people already on the edge in favor of confirmation bias. To say that there is no need for a constitution to uphold minorities right, because it is embedded in "our civilization" is the same as saying there is no need for a child abuse or spousal abuse law, because it is embedded in "our civilization" or our faith. Secondly, promoting that we will accept you as long as you don't force yourself on me is a direct stab at muslims. However there again, those who forced themselves on you were not mere immigrants (like zoroastrians or Jews), they were conquerers from the East. That certainly put them in a position to make some changes around, mostly resulting in a synergy, though there were exceptions. BUT the point is that no Indian Muslim living in India, after 1947 has wished to or dared to impose upon the Hindu majority. On the contrary, it is the militant Hindutva who is trying to impose upon them, ever more aggressively. But like I said, confirmation bias plays a key role here for an average person to assess this sincerely.

@@mubeenalam are u a fucking fool ??? In india muslims are following special status and that much benefit that they are not even getting in saudi arabia , India is like heaven for muslims and best place for any muslim wherever in world , Indian muslims have special status in constitution of india , While hindus are second class citizen Here i explain why SECULARISM in the Indian context would mean maintaining equidistance from all religions. Unfortunately, that equidistance never happened. CAN YOU ANSWER ME WHY THESE RULES SINCE INDIA IS A SECULAR COUNTRY . How could Indian courts recognise Sharia-based Muslim Personal Law while claiming to be secular? How could Central and State governments take over the management of Hindu temples if they were secular? How could a secular government provide financial assistance to educational institutions run by religious organisations? How could a secular government codify and modify Hindu personal law? How would the government extend the existing caste-based reservations to minority religions if it were secular? why hindus cannot have their religious schools while other religion have their schools and also get funds from govt ? "TO be secular in the truest sense of the word, the Indian context should have to equidistant from religion And this never happened because of giving unequal rights to different religions ". so this is not secularism To Giving a religion( muslims) far more rights than other religion ( hindus ) for their political party's own benefit of vote politics . And islam is not that minority they are 20 percent of country . " It would be better to declare india an islamic country If they are going to increase their rights for islamists " . Yes ,It is true that indian civilization has nourished people from other places and respected their faith and culture , And history is its proof they can be anyone as jews or christians or parsis( zorostrian) or tibetians . But they also lived here very peacefully with us ,and we have been respecting to each other mutually and will have . There is no need to uplift any law ,because there are already many laws for them . In the current landscape of news channel debates, which has unfortunately taken on a somewhat circus-like entertainment quality, there exists a notable exception. I recently encountered a debate that stands out as a refined intellectual class discussion, resembling a masterclass in discourse. The participants presented well-reasoned arguments supported by factual information, offering a genuine departure from the prevalent trend of sensationalism and theatrics in the media. This particular exchange was a breath of fresh air, demonstrating a level of sophistication often absent in contemporary debates. It not only delivered valuable insights into various topics but also showcased a respectful exchange of ideas, contributing to a more informed public discourse. I firmly believe that such intellectually stimulating debates should be recommended for every individual to watch. They serve as a noteworthy example of how debates can be conducted with substance, elevating the discourse to a higher standard. In an era where sensationalism often overshadows substance, this masterclass debate provides a refreshing alternative, reminding us of the true purpose of thoughtful and informed discussions in shaping public opinion. The role and integrity of the media in contemporary society have become the focal point of substantial debate. In today's complex landscape, a considerable number of audiences find themselves unable to connect with or fully comprehend the nuances of media narratives. This shift in perception has triggered a profound examination of the media's responsibility, ethical standards, and its impact on shaping public opinion.Amidst this discourse, questions are raised about the media's ability to serve as a reliable source of information and its potential influence on societal perspectives. The challenges of navigating through a plethora of news sources further contribute to the growing skepticism. Consequently, the evolving dynamics between media organizations and their audiences underscore the need for transparent, unbiased reporting that fosters a more informed citizenry. In this era of rapid information dissemination, the media's crucial role in shaping public discourse calls for a renewed commitment to journalistic ethics and accuracy. Striking a balance between responsible reporting and engaging the diverse perspectives of the audience is imperative for rebuilding trust in the media as a credible source of information

Indeed, the recent debate was remarkable, and it prompts me to emphasize the importance of embracing our common humanity over exclusive religious identities. It's crucial to recognize that being a Hindu, Muslim, or adherent of any faith doesn't guarantee success or fulfillment. Instead, let's prioritize our individual growth, focusing on education, career, and personal well-being. In this era of social media and keyboard activism, it's easy to get entangled in divisive political narratives. However, I advocate for a shift in focus towards building a meaningful life, reading inspiring content, and fostering personal development. By placing emphasis on our careers and learning from positive influences, we not only contribute to our own growth but also create a more harmonious society. It's essential to understand that religious identity should complement our humanity, not overshadow it. Embracing unity and religious harmony can lead to a more compassionate and understanding world. Political narratives often polarize individuals, fostering extremism and detracting from the shared values that unite us. The alarming suicide rate, particularly in India, highlights the urgency of addressing mental health issues and societal pressures. Religion, while providing spiritual guidance, cannot be a sole source of solace. True well-being comes from a holistic approach that includes mental health, personal growth, and fostering connections. As a true Hindu, let us recognize that our religion encourages empathy, compassion, and understanding. It's a call to transcend divisive narratives and work towards a society where individuals are valued for their character and actions rather than their religious affiliations. Together, let's build a world where everyone, regardless of their background, can thrive and contribute positively to society.

Basically Sai was speaking about the cultural ethos of Hinduism and how much inclusive they are in comparison to the other religions in terms of accommodating people of other faith on this land and he is also very correct regarding that because in all our history it is India which welcomed everyone with open arms without being judgmental of their race or religion. He is also correct when he says that the nationalism that the west talks about is something which suits their objectives but not what it is in terms of nationalism of this land which is very different, even without constitution hindus are welcoming every person irrespective of their faith to evolve themselves on this land where as you can clearly see why Pakistan failed or how much inclusive it is even being part of the same land. So it clearly shows that hindu nationalism doesn't creates unequal space for minorities or other faiths. Now what Shashi said is to point out those incidents where some of the members of Hindu community went a step ahead and started humiliating people of other faith or you can say generalizing their hatred for the bad deeds done to them by people of other faith which shouldn't have happened. The incidents that he talked about are truly very shameful if you consider yourself to be true hindu. So I think both have some good points and both have some flaws as Sai said nobody is perfect. And yeah the indian culture which swami Vivekananda talked about is something which really needs our focus right now.

The great Swami Vivekanand gave that speech with a specific objective of educating the west about the Indian/Hindu culture and philosophy of acceptance and inclusion, so of course he said the things Shashi mentioned. But when you analyze those very virtues of of our country, isn't that the reason why we were so easily conquered and trampled upon repeatedly by outsiders? If you see the movie 'Silence' you'll know how the Japanese kept the establishment of Christianity out of their country. The fundamental question therefore is, do we humans have a right to preservation of their self and identity? What if you are faced with a person who comes to your house with the intent of taking it over and enslaving you? It sounds very noble to talk about Shashi's ideals, but in practice they may not help you protect you and what yours! I wish that I was there to rebut him! @rohanverma2880 Жыл бұрын
You had to listen to it twice not because he talks of one divine gospel truth but because the man relies on a specific way of framing an argument that is characteristically his. He tends to say provocative things and then offers tangential reasoning that broadens the scope of all that he relies on. He makes sure that the listener confuses the volume of what he relies on with the merit of the particular ground he is basing his arguments on. In doing so, something that this vile man also does masterfully blurs the lines between causation and correlation. Just because A is an idea that relates to B, doesn't mean A is because B is. Listen another time, take off your rose-tinted glasses, and don't be led astray by his barrage of complex words.

@@rohanverma2880 what makes him so vile though? You talk about these rose-tinted glasses, but don’t mention what people would see if they took them off. @chiranjitray760 Жыл бұрын
I believe J. Sai Deepak has a lot of pedigree in the vast amount of information that he has collected regarding the subject matter, as well as the art of debate that he has honed. Where I find myself agreeing to most of his points I often find he lacks a certain kind of foresightedness and relies heavily on the pure information has acquired. Sure, you can be the repository of the all data in the world, but that doesn't necessitate that you get the insight. I think J. Sai Deepak lacks in this very field of having great insight. For example, he assures that the dharmic philosophy which is somehow very endemic to this land and is by default the "original" cultural identity of this land (as if culture itself isn't fluid); will always accommodate all faiths since it has done that so easily in the past. What, in my opinion, he fails to understand is that in modern times many aspects of faith, geopolitics and basic human nature have changed. Jews, before Hitler, were well integrated into society ...yet when an opportunistic jingoist came to power that all went down the drain. Here, he argues that we are fundamentally different from the West since our dharmic traditional thinking is different from the West. But a human psyche is more fundamental than a faith-based lifestyle. Demons were there even within the kaurava-pandava household (argument in lines of the Hindutva proponents). An opportunistic man would always seize power, and in modern times a relatively strong legal framework like our constitution is more robust than some now-obscure inaccurately documented, widely misquoted, open to interpretation and for most parts orally propagated and practised trust-based faith systems like dharmic philosophy. I am pretty sure if J Sai Deepak truly believed in what he said he would thus rather be a yogi than an advocate.

Fascinating talk. Towards the end, what surprised me most was Dr Tharoor trying to say that we should not pick at old wounds and look to the future. Where were sangh and BJP when Kashmiri pandits were forced to leave their land. What is the point of raising such horrors again in memory of their descendants. Now their savior has come to give them peace. They went to demoish an old building name babri masjid and not went to kashmir. They choose kashmiri pandit because these people are solely dependent on central govt. Most kashmiri pandit are employed in govt. Jobs. they cant dare to utter a word against govt.
