Yup absolutely! I had some issues with audio in this video and have in general been working on getting my audio sorted out. More recent videos are much better I believe but if you find issues with those as well please let me know so I can continue to adjust/improve. Thanks!

Thanks man appreciate it! Was really annoyed by how the audio turned out...still tinkering with this new mic and has been chaotic at home getting my new space reno'd. Once everything has settled I should be able to iron out some of the wrinkles and pump out some more consistent videos :)

@@l3eland thanks I really appreciate that :) Got all the drywall hung this past weekend, now onto mudding, sanding, flooring, etc... Once it's all done I should have a nice space to consistently paint, shoot, edit, etc. Very excited to have it all come together :)

You stir the paint with the back of your brush, just like I do. It's pretty comfortable. You also have such a wonderful collection of Star Wars miniatures. How long does it take to paint a character?

Thank you, really appreciate it! And yeah haha I use the back of the brush so I don't get more paint in the bristles than needed :) It's hard to say how long a mini takes me, varies a lot, but I'd say my average mini takes 4 - 5 hours? If I'm painting to the best of my ability I could spend 20 - 40+ hours of course, but often I don't have the time to do that. Thanks for watching!

I was at the LGS today and I walked by this on my way to get some battletech stuffs. The thing that stood out was the absolute light saber fetish of the current releases... I know that is gonna be divisive. But I think the jedi/sith are the most boring lart of the star wars universe. I want bounty hunters, jawa, tusken raiders, ewoks, just droids all the droids and not 4 light saber mc android guy. wookies? Or insert other world building group that is not running around with laser swords and super powers. I like the world building Lucas did, his space knights bah whatever. There was one box... that I would play. I cannot even make a team unless I buy like 3 boxes... Cad bane, duku and night sisters and that is just pure skornery.

I hear you, I’m more interested in non-saberfolk as well. There’s a lot of cool boxes that have released and will be releasing that add some cool options for sure, but I hear you. It’s easiest to get into the game with the core box but it does shove a bunch of Jedi/sith your way. The gameplay is definitely worth it but I can see why you might be turned away. I'm really hearing the siren song of this game, but it's hard to justify picking it up before it gains a little more speed at my FLGS. I've got so much MCP and Kill Team in my pile of shame that I'm kind of holding off at the moment, but my strength is waning...

Yeah it was pretty tough for me to say no despite having so much MCP and other minis as well. I only get out so often for games but it has really been a blast when I have. Loving the sculpts, just wish I could afford to snag every release like I did with MCP before my son was born lol.

Played my first two games on Sunday, was very happy. I only half read the rules, saw a few bat reps and just went full dive into a regular game I told the person showing me the game to not pull punches. I play marvel and originally when SP first came out i thought it would just be a Marvel clone... it really IS NOT. Though i do like part of the strategy of marvel is making your mission deck and i hope they add a few more to SP. The games I had really were fast, fluid and different in the sense of though movement shenanigan's are curbed i still felt there was way more dynamic movement in this game between certain abilities and attacks triggering off. My buddy passed by and was watching me play the game and he immediately went onto the shelf and bought the core box who is also a big Marvel player (admittingly also a big star wars fan). While yes you can make some squads that are not "fluffy" i actually feel thats somewhat of a draw to add some more variety especially this early into the releases. Fingers crossed that down the line they release the bounty hunters and greedo!

Absolutely, I don’t think the one will affect the other as they’re definitely very different games. I don’t think Legion will be going anywhere - it needs a bit more focus from AMG though that’s for sure! Hopefully they’ll refocus on it more soon!

So it's basically Marvel Crisis Protocol, but also another Star Wars game. Looks like I'm saving money.

I would say that it has almost nothing in common with MCP other than being in the same scale, uses movement widgets, same size board and objectives matter more than killing. But other games fall under that general umbrella as well. How it actually plays is miles away from MCP in my opinion.

@@PocketPigments scale and the movement widgets are the dealbreaker. Well, that and the style of the models. I never liked that animated look.

@@elijahherstal776 Totally understand that, it's definitely a very specific style. Scale/widgets doesn't bother me - I love slightly larger models, great to paint, and widgets make it snappy to push things around. But an old fashioned tape measure has its own feel for sure :) I'm mostly in it for the painting though, so wasn't hard to win me over in that regard. Thanks for watching, really appreciate it!

@@PocketPigments No problem- you killed it with the painting, my dude. I'm just- I'll say I'm bitter regarding the entire Star Wars miniatures... thing (I wanted a larger variety of factions, characters). Etsy's got a lot of cool stuff, though.
