Thanks, Shaun! My ldr gf dumped me for no reason 3 months ago. I was working hard and saving up for us to get married as we had planned. The relationship was solid and healthy, we were both happy, no simping, but I noticed she was not putting as much effort into communication. I pointed out to her bluntly but fairly and she started crying, but I comforted her and told her I was beyond happy with her, because there had not been real issues up till then. We laughed, we joked, we talked. Forgive and move on, you know? Why throw away a wonderful relationship over a tiny difficulty that really was not a big deal? Welp, she dumped me a week later. So much for commitment. Not only did she dump me, she also said she did not have time to explain because she had to play a card game with her brothers. Apparently, I am not worth a card game. I can share with you my thoughts and experiences. Something unpopular. I believe that women swings and their need of men breaking routine is actually valid. My ex left me when I finally have money, but been so much consumed by work and grind culture that have no time for her and whole relationship was a routine. After the breakup I just realised that sometimes grind doesn't make you masculine. It can go the other way around. So my lesson from that was to: surprise yourself, be present and despite working on yourself be also present in the moment. Do it for yourself - not for a woman. The side effect will be happier life and better relationship.

She winds up finding the perfect man who did EVERYTHING for her including leaving his friends and family to move 300 miles away to live in her house that he helped refurbish over multiple years.
