Losing yourself in a relationship is a quite dangerous thing. I was in a horrible mental state and my best friend told me to move in with him and start a new life. I did just that and had to go to therapy and only after that my eyes where wide open and I could realize how deeply I lost myself in that relationship. Now I am back on track and I'm getting my new life ''back'' together and absolutely getting in shape. I'm not the type of guy that says ''She will regret her decision!'' but I truly believe in the ''Become the man she can't have anymore!'' motivation.

But im feeling low yet, low on energy, and somewhat astray.... almost with no money, but i keep going. Seems like now everything is truly work, determination, even relationships. So now Im working in raising myself. I know that all good was mainly my struggle, my choice my love, not hers. Cheers to all who are fighting hard with this, be Blessed men, and never NEVER GIVE UP! Married for 18 years, together for 23. 3 daughters together. I did ALL the cooking, helped with cleaning, laundry, involved in kids activities, never cheated, let her go on trips to Vegas with her cousins and sister. But no matter what i did to show her i valued our Marriage as a Team, she never felt I appreciated her enough. Middle child was displaying Psychopath tendencies and when I disciplined her, it made things worse with Ex. To hear her say how I was such a Bad Husband and Father and only focus on negatives, hurt a lot. Lost my eyesight due to Glaucoma in right eye at 41 and had to have Cornea transplant and then 2 additional surgeries and go on Disability. She started to resent me not being able to provide and do all the things I use to be able to do like she was accustomed to. Left me at my worst and it's been 7 months since she filed and just found out she already has a new boyfriend of 3 months, introduced him to our 3 kids and told them not to tell me, and says she loves him and wants to move in with him. Just have to be the Best Dad I can from here on. Thanks for your Channel, it really helps us more than you know.

I don’t know if heartbreak is the BEST thing that can happen to a man, but I’m Ok saying that it did help me become a more mature person. I was very lucky that this happened to me when I still young (pretty sure I was 20) and we did not children. We weren’t even married, yet it hurt so bad because I would’ve probably done anything for this girlfriend. Anyway, it opened my eyes to the nature of women and I stopped believing in the fairy tales. This was a good thing in retrospect, and I think other young men could benefit from it as well.

In a way I thank god my parents (specifically my mom whom is pretty much an alpha female) have always HAMMERED in my head to focus on myself and just walk my own path. As a byproduct of that it really helped me be very self reliant in a stubborn way (working on improving this area of my life even more), independent, goal driven/oriented without a sense of neediness. People this day ask me “why don’t you have a girlfriend or why are you not married?!” And I get a little annoyed by it because it almost come across as if people think I NEED to have a girlfriend or be married. I still keep my eyes open out there but never felt the NEED to have someone, and I have the mindset of if it works cool, if not, that’s fine.

But I heard him ARGUING on his cellphone and asking just divorce each other. 'mom it's BEEN YEARS now and dad trying for contact with you and you still hooking UP with ALL these RANDOM dudes???? ' Her Exact Words 'HE IS NOT !!!! random. My wife texted picture to her son nude in bed (pov knees down to her feet laying on top that RANDOM Alabama dude) the worst of all his own mother said ' Mr R TOLD ME that tell your son to grow up get a life and move on and to be REAL and to be able for your mother's life and let her behavior not be a problem ' Unfortunately his REAL NAME was used. He is not new. My son and his seeing her relationship with especially Mr R TOLD him the best place and time. Labor Day Weekend BROWN family BBQ best way for hurting me to get in touch for only myself..but I know nowadays most sad and pray for her own life that she has no interest with him at least living in Chicago and same house with no job and 30 year old BLACK MAN under his own mother. He told me to not say anything about his relationship with her. But called me last week but no message from him. I'm experiencing this for now 3 weeks. My woman dumped me 3 weeks ago after 2 and half years together, we moved into together after a year and half. Because we both wanted to take that next step. She stated she was happy 90 % of the time in the relationship. But she had a lot of baggage / trauma the emotional abuse from her mom from 8 to 18 years old. She blames me for triggering her more than any B/F she's ever been with. She told me that she loved me more than any man, but then cut me down with the you trigger me more than any b/f. I would talk to her like and adult and someone that truly loved her, but she would always take something I said which was how I was feeling and shutdown and tell me that I cut her deep. She asked me to move in with her because we both wanted to take the next step. My ex had a lot of stuff in her place almost boarder line hoarding. She told me when I moved in we would work on it together because she doesn't want to live that way, and she knows how I'm nice and neat but not OCD wise. In the 11 months of living together, we would talk about wanting to have people over friends, family. Though as time went on it seemed she was only wanting to do something if I got frustrated. In a 11 months we did pretty good, but she still wasn't ready to have people over like we both agreed and talked about. Long story short after dating for 5 - 6 months she finally allowed me over her place, she stated the reason she took so long was because she was embarrassed by how she lives compared to me. I did mention to her that I was embarrassed by how we were living after 6 months. I even told her before I said that, that I was not blaming her that I was blaming us as a couple. I always used " Us" or " We" cause I want to be adults when we talk. Was I frustrated yes, was I blaming her no and I even asked if she felt I was speaking to her to intentionally hurt her, she said no. While yes I'm partially to blame for moving in and taking her word, talk should match the walk. She broke up with me with twice in 2 months out of no where while she was giving me mixed signals. I even wrote a letter to her family 2 weeks ago telling her family thankyou for making me feel part of their family and not an outsider. Because they always talked about how happy they were that my Ex finally had a good guy, and would always tell me they can't wait till we get married. Long story short she dumped me because I was holding her accountable to what we both agreed we would do together.

This is some good stuff Shaun, just found your channel the other day and it’s valuable content. I went through a breakup somewhat recently and while I was sad at first, it’s made me grow into a better man overall and made me reevaluate my priorities in life

Going through exactly that but its long distance instead, she started backing away and I hit panic mode and she lost feelings, currently on day 3 of the breakup, removed her from everything and I’m gymming and working a good job and planning on graduating and putting actual effort

Thank you for sharing. Went through something similar recently and it was the worse emotional experience of my life. The choice after is simple... You die inside or you grow, you improve. Women will be there anytime you have it together and they will all eventually leave if they see weakness.

I feel like in a few years I will be grateful about what im currently going through, that this situation made me stronger than ever and pushed me to go get what I fucking deserve, and be that monster that I always though I could be. Thank you Shaun.

9:28 that’s the biggest mistake dudes make. Never let anyone know anything.. at all.. because you don’t know what’s going on. Even after the fact.. still let them know nothing!!

Tbh honest, I don’t think it’s about villanizing one person over the other. Him/Her, doesn’t really matter, breakups happen for a reason, usually because something isn’t working. If anything, it is an opportunity to do better. But I agree, nobody should be simping for nobody. People just gotta be in the mindset of grinding and working on themselves.
