Congrats on branching out ! You could try some Witch Hazel , its a toner to help cleanse the skins and close those pores rather than alcohol. Another great oil is Squalane . You can get for under 10 ( the Ordinary has it for 6.50) . Really great properties to look into. And you're not wrong oil does usually go before any heavy cream. Steam reopens pores.

Courtney Hames it won’t! I think it probably depends on how your hair follicles are,but for me has improved my skin and my makeup goes way more smoothly,although i wouldn’t recommend putting alcohol at all in the skin,try rose water ,its more gentle and has way more benefits

Oils after moisturizer, always. Moisturizer can’t penetrate the skin through oil, but oil can through moisturizer. Oil goes last otherwise any water-based product on top of it is totally going to waste

In terms of skincare order, you’re supposed to go from thinnest to thickest at all times. Oil, especially rose hip oil is EXTREMELY thick meaning anything you put on after it isn’t gonna penetrate your skin. Putting a thin moisturizer on after is completely pointless considering the rosehip oil already created such a thick barrier. You could also try using a toner to get rid of any excess oil and seabum instead of using something as abrasive as rubbing alcohol.

Not thicker. It's an illusion caused by the razor creating a blunt edge to the hairs. natural growth tapers at ends

You put the oil after the moisturizer because in a normal skincare routine you have to go from the product with the lightest consistency to the heaviest one , and oils should be used at last 🙌🏻

I love everything you did except the sonic cleansing brush. Even with the softest brush head its too abrasive on the skin even more so after exfoliating the face. What i would recommend is the Foreo Luna its a vibrating cleansing device made of medical grade silicone its much more suited for this. Also im not sure how you sterilize the heads on the brush (uv light and alcohol?) or if you just replace them all together which seems very expensive. The medical grade silicone is easier to sterilize and cuts down on cost as well as gentler on the face :) You can get it at Sephora . Just found your channel and throughly enjoy your content !!😊

I think the reason is because oil can log pores when their prone to acne and it can cause more acne specially if your streaming afterwords. It all depends on the skin type. I'm here if anything else
