Been out as queer (positive term, not a slur anymore, the lgbtq community reclaimed it!!) since i was 10 years old. Doing my first buzzcut in sophomore year (and honestly I wish I had done it sooner! my mom didn't say no, it just never occurred to me.) was the best thing I ever did, both for my queer experience, and helped me find myself a bit better in terms of my gender. it took 9 or 10 more years for me to put a label on it - nonbinary - but that really was the first step to understanding myself. all that said, the fact that you are willing to work with Lilia for their gender expression and how they want to represent themselves is SO important, so amazing, and so heartwarming to see. thank you for letting your kids be themselves, endlessly. and thank you, Jess, for being you.

I get thick hair I had to get my hair thinned out every so many months when I was a kid, but when you shave just like the bottom part of her maybe and leave the top part long that might work and then thin the top out every so often it shouldn't be too hard or heavy on her then, instead of shaving it all off one day cuz then when she goes back to dance she will have no hair, cuz hair doesn't grow back that quick.
