Highly highly reccomend "No Bullets Fly" animated story video!!! Great example of their lead/harmony vocals in a call and response fashion in the chorus of that song. Not to mention an absolutely INCREDIBLE story of honor and compassion between sides in WWII. Definitely a must watch!

All five musicians are also singers. A lot of their songs have harmonies in the chorus.

The song is about the White Friday avalanches in WW I, December 1916 on the Italian front. They fought high in the mountains where avalanches killed many soldiers. Both sides even shelled the snowpack above their enemies heads to try and bury them. Some of those bodies are still up there to this day, frozen in the ice and snow. And some have only been recovered in the last number of years with global warming and glacier melt and movement. This is from their most recent 10th album, The War to End All Wars. The first single from the album was Christmas Truce, a little different musically. The music video is a must watch. The vocal over the end credits is a voice you may recognize.

This is an interesting song. When I first heard it felt more like an album filler, but now I think it's one of the best tracks in the album. Despite the apparent simplicity it has remained fresh and interesting over dozens and dozens of listens.

This is one of my favorites.. at first I thought it unusual for Sabaton ..it is a bit of change which take a little to get used to … BUT it’s genius and still to the core Sabaton!!!

You mentioned backing vocals. Yes ,the bandmembers do them, but some of the female ones go back to Primo Victoria, their first history recording (2005( and the male ones go back to Carolus Rex (2012).They are a very loyal band. Greetings from Belgium 🤘

As someone else noted, ALL of them will song together at times--I think that's why they can deliver that powerful, almost choir-like effect. Additionally, those lines in the song that push it even further ("sent from above" and "serve high above") have the added punch of two guitars joining the harmony. Pretty genius, I love these guys. Delightful reaction!

Chapeau! Sabaton again placed an easter egg in the video. The event happened in 1916 during WWI, but in the later part it switches to WWII, when one of the BF-109s is shot down by AA fire. Its because the Alps were a Battlefield in both wars

I'm not sure if you've done this one yet but I also recommend the song called Dreadnought by Sabaton. It's about the Dreadnought class of warships, that are like the parents of the more Modern battleships that you can see as museum ships such as the Iowa Class, and all ww2 battleships made in that time period of the 1930s and 1940s. And probably some in the 1920s. It is by far one of my favorite songs done by them. And it is an absolute banger and it has a cool beat as well as chorus along with it.

I never feel comfortable making suggestions .. but have you considered looking at Tommy Johansson, the guitarist in Sabaton .. he loves the 80 th ( he does covers on his channel : Gary Moore for example over the hills and far away, Toto’s Africa, st Elmo’s fire or his I’ll never let you go or Iron Maiden’s aces high .. and not least his disneyton version of soldier of heaven

If u like Lord of the Rings then Shadows i highly recommend. The only sabaton LOTR based song :D Its really good and epic. Its the most metal u could hear. Coz everything about Sauron and Mordor is just METAL!
