I’ve met a number of my heroes and it’s the perfect example of social media right now - the things you revere are a snapshot of that person. Don’t hold others in high regard unless they deserve it from how they treat you and others. You deserve as much respect as the hero who commands it

@@thenextlevel112 well, we have proof here that he’s not gonna be intimidated to be who he really is on the channel, because right before Mania, he joined Vince Russo and Bin Amin, and listened- quietly- as the two of them (especially Russo) bury Cody for crying, and bury ANY guy who cries when his feelings are legitimately hurt, calling them “Sissy Marys,” 🤦 Stevie is on his own now (obviously he’s with James, but we know that he has “creative control” (had to say it lol). So I think we’re gonna see one of the most real, honest, NEEDED guys on the KZbin. Stevie is as tough as they come- he physically put JBL in his place as we all know in defense of the Meanie, so it’s time to advance culture past the Stone Age, and Stevie gonna be more important and relevant and likable than he has ever been.

Man, i know this exact feeling. I met Bruce Dickinson once when I was around 19 years old. I was a massive Iron Maiden fan and I was the lead singer in a band at the time too. He could not have been more dismissive if he tried. I was polite, courteous, and respectful of his space and time, but he seemed to hate my existence, and treated me like something under his shoe. It broke me, cause he was such a big hero of mine. I cant listen to maiden anymore cause i just think of that bad interaction. I really feel for you Stevie, it sucks. We all love you! ❤

This is crazy because hearing this from him really brings things full circle. I use to like Stevie Richards back in the day because he was like a makeshift Shawn Michaels to me with the Steven Kick and the looks; he even resembles him slightly to me. I feel horrible knowing how that was just thrown back in his face like that because he didn't deserve that. I'm glad he took that and doesn't plan to replicate it. We need more people like him that are just open and receptive to helping. Younger talent will be good under his tutelage.

I've got to say, I've met Shawn at one of his book signings in 2015. Couldn't have been nicer, but the whole thing felt rushed. I had so many things I wanted to say to him that when I got up there, I was too in awe being face to face with one of my favorite wrestlers of all time! Still was happy to meet him and he posed for a pic. Rewind 4 years Earlier in 2011. I met you for the first time at that PWX Show in FL. Huge fan of yours. I was super nervous meeting you, but we've had a few good interactions on Twitter at that point, and Always was a big supporter of your T4 Show, so youkinda knew of me through that. So when I came up to your merch table you were one of the nicest guys ever! That experience didn't feel rushed, we had a little conversation. Raven was there next to you, I got something from him for my brother as well. Bought an 8x10 and bWo shirt from you that you signed that I still have to this day. It was GREAT. Only regret was that I didn't ask to get a picture. But still, made my night meeting you, and I'll never forget it.

When Shawn first retired he definitely had resentment over so many of the guys adopting the Super Kick as a finisher so that's probably one of his issues with Richards It was ridiculous though because when the Invasion happened it seemed like most of the ECW and WCW guys had the super kick as their finisher. Justin Credible, Lance Storm, Chuck Palumbo and Stevie were all using it at the same time 😅 Fast forward to this generation and the Usos and Young Bucks have it as a normal move lmao

We talked about gaming. He was getting the 360 and a bunch of games. I had JUST started in the business so he asked me where I was working. I'm an idiot and thought he meant like,.my shoot job, so I said oh lookin for warehouse stuff etc and he politely said oh ok cool and didn't call me on it. @@KOHoxton no my friend. The only way to know if someone is saved is if they believe the gospel, i.e. that they are a sinner in need of a savior, and that Jesus Christ is God and is that Savior, and that He died on the Cross, was buried, and resurrected on the third day. That's it. Salvation comes from God's grace, granted as a free gift to all that believe. While it is true that Jesus told us to love one another, unfortunately some Christians remain so carnal and focused on their flesh that they just don't act that way at all. But that doesn't mean they have lost their salvation (which is impossible) or that they weren't ever saved. @ValiantWrestling seriously? Because I used a widely accepted shorthand, newer in its acceptance due to the rise of the internet, and thus, the world of text, "u," instead of "you?" I'm disappointed in myself that I'm even responding to you, because making that judgment with that REACH of a reason, actually shows me that YOU'RE the moron. Yes, I was born in 1978. And I got my computer with good ol' AOL in 1997, sophomore year of college, at what you seem to be alluding to is some ripe, old, sophisticated, mature, age. But never you mind all that. The fact that you tried to correct me on spelling, when not only is "u" a form of slang, shorthand, "text-culture," etc., but you're trying to clown me on spelling when you spelled two words wrong. I shortened my text. You spelled two words wrong. Two. Oh, and not to mention, your lack of punctuation, and sentence structure in your weak aRss response (the "R" there was to avoid any possible censoring...and not, ya know, "sone" mistake). UUUUUUUUUUUU know nothing. Have a sparkling weekend "nate." 🤣

Yo stevie you are a cool ass dude , we love you man , forget the stuck up stuff, hopefully shawn has grown from that, i think you're a great person with a big heart and giving him that cd was pure, know this if the Lord didnt convict him after that then he ain't got the Lord. God is love. If someone claims to have the Lord but does not have love then they are deceived. You can't have the holy Spirit in your heart and be loveless. Nobodys perfect of course but the Bible says and im paraphrasing but basically When you're truly saved and the holy Spirit is living in you then you can't even help it love just seeps through your skin. So Stevie i assume everyone gon feel this way but brother to brother i love you man and l know it means nothing coming from me but I'm proud of you and thank you .

Sad to hear Stevie's stories and you can see how it effects him. I had a similar situation with Roddy Piper when we were on a show together (nobody was buying a ticket to see me) He asked me a favour and while I was happy to do it and wasn't looking for anything for it (except the thirty bucks it cost me) he was really stand-offish and I felt like a waiter serving a shitty customer. I heard tales from some of the other boys about fun conversations and interactions they'd had with him over the weekend and I'd had nothing, not even a "thanks". Never did pay me the thirty bucks either, and he made a killing on the gimmick table. Never meet your heroes.

I really enjoy listening to Stevie's opinions and hearing his stories from the biz. Sucks about Shawn, but something to remember is that everyone is fighting thier own demons. I would bet a lot of money that Shawn's treatment of Steve had much more to do with Shawn than it did Steve. Shawn seems like a guy who has always had more demons than most to battle. It takes a strong person to not let your demons affect how you treat others. Edit: grammer, spelling
