Exactly.... "Huge" just doesn't really make them justice, especially in my country. Between 85 and 87 they literally OWNED the charts in my country. We had weeks with 3 singles from them on the top 3 positions of the singles charts, and the first and second albums on the 2 first positions on the albums charts. So many hits... Not to mention that Thomas Anders had the coolest mullet/hair of the whole 80's, especially around 86/87 when it was really long

Yep, it's a synthesizer called a "Keytar." The neck has controls that alter sound & pitch - the keyboard is played with one hand (the other on the neck), or both can be used.
