Brian, you did an excellent job against Eddie, congratulations!! keep going!!! One piece of advice, try at the beginning of the game not to look at the referee so much and concentrate on the grip to be able to check that the opponent does not take advantage of the grip at the beginning, that is very important.

Here is an Idea about the size of the table, Instead of changing the table size have the floor underneath the table step down a foot or to the desired level for someone so tall. Do that for either side and have a bolted steel plate over the opening that can be unbolted and removed or added for average height people like 6 foot. Great job!!

Best match of the night easily and one of the most entertaining this year. You 2 giants gave it your all and showed your heart. Dealing with the pressure of Eddie's crazy trash talk and gaslighting the refs must have been difficult haha, but you did it. I'd like to see you get a proper coach now for a few weeks of dedicated training. Neil was an amazing coach for Eddie for 6 weeks and made this match close. You haven't really had a proper coach in comparison. 3 days with Devon who really isn't good at teaching new armwrestlers, he even admits it. A proper coach like Neil or Bob Brown for a few weeks will transform you too. Hope both you and Eddie stay in the sport long term, you're both so dang entertaining.

But yes Brian will be our true champ really soon. He just needs a different teacher someone that thinks more like him that can explain the movements to where he can understand them so he doesn't look so robotic. He knows that he should be winning but he’s coming at it as if he’s lifting a heavy weight, whereas Eddie is coming at him as if it’s two men locked in combat. 23:49 “When that knuckle is up, he can’t match you, he doesn’t have the anatomy to do it.” That was a great statement and I’m sure hearing that mentally gave Brian even more confidence because it’s true. Brian’s levers for arm wrestling being the length of his arms from his elbow to his wrist and then having larger hands is huge in arm wrestling. “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world” - Archimedes
@tommyromero7296
@tommyromero7296 2 күн бұрын
With that quote, and considering that it's easier to apply torque on longer levers, it's basically more the enemy's advantage, since they're gonna be the ones pushing or rather pulling on that long lever of Brian's. (A shorter forearm for example is just gonna be rowing that longer forearm backwards, while that longer forearm is gonna have to curl instead. Or like maybe a wrench, the longer wrench is gonna be easier to rotate than the shorter one) Brian's main advantage is the big hands that come with it, but that advantage was out when they got into the straps, which is why Eddie won that round.
@James_Edward59
@James_Edward59 Күн бұрын
@ Not true, because he will always have the high ground and his knuckles and wrists will always have the higher advantage which is everything for top rolling.
@tommyromero7296
@tommyromero7296 Күн бұрын
@@James_Edward59 yeah that's what I'm saying. It's mostly his hands and then add in the wrists, sure, that's his advantage. Then that advantage was mostly gone when they went to the straps, since Eddie doesn't have to use his grip anymore, and he was able to take advantage of Brian's longer forearm. Similar to let's say deadlifting the 500kg with or without straps. In the latter, his grip will be the bottleneck.

Brian, it really is terrifying to think how good you will be because you beat Eddie with just pure strength. When you start using technique, terrifying. Levan said one year that’s all you need if you train full-time because you already have all the attributes to be the best.

Tendons are for resisting not side pressure. If Brian builds superb strength he'd never need his tendons to work. Besides, look at Eddie being bent , Eddie doesn't have seasoned tendons yet but he still looked beautiful while in the kings move.
