I just couldn't imagine any father who would walk away from his child/children... It doesn't matter if that child is a girl or a boy. Children are gifts from God. My two boys and my princess are my legends to this world.

Thank you Henry for being there for all of us. My real dad always rejected me. He never wanted to be a father to me but you step up and became the dad that I needed. Thank you so much. I miss you. I love you. Rip. Your daughter always Pam. May you be with the angels in heaven.

When I married my wife she had a 3 year little girl. We've been married now for 25 years and that little girl is now 28 with a masters degree in nursing. We have a pretty tight bond and I could not love her more.

My father treated me as a princess but he walked away when I was 17. Many years passed and it still hurts. Although I keep in touch with him now, it's not the same. He is like a stranger to me.

In the USA there are currently over 100,000 orphans and over 400,000 children in foster care. That’s over half a million kids with no family. 🤷♂️

With all the petty and pointless distractions thrust upon us in this day in age, these types of things are to be cherished. Politics, religion, social prowess, economic stature and the various other discrepancies that can separate us; these types of genuine moments of family, love, kindness and empathy show us the things that truly matter. I'm just glad the shortage of kleenex has subsided.

what did he do? Seemed like a nice guy, that was a little surprised and emotional to be confronted with such a meaningful sentiment out of nowhere. It honestly could have been the first time that they ever expressed themselves so openly on the matter. He's a real man and I'm sure he's got a huge heart.
