I think the fact that someone chooses YOU as their parent without being blood related is so special. That kid/teen/young-adult is CHOOSING you. I don't know a lot of things stronger than that..

Outstanding Dad, you made your precious little girl’s entire life. Best Wishes to both of you as you both journey through each other’s lives. 👍👍👍👍

I cannot stop watching these videos. These dads are so amazing. I can see and feel the love. I'm not a stepdad and I did not have a stepdad. When my dad married my mom in the 1950s she already had 4 children from her first marriage. They were 5 years old and younger. I never saw my dad treat his step-children any differently from the rest of his children. He was the dad they only knew. They never saw their biological father again. I never heard the word "step" from him and the rest of us kids never referred to our older siblings as half-brother or sister. Even though they had different last name they were just our brothers and sisters. To say "half" seemed wrong. When growing up I saw a loving father who gave his time to all of us. And often told us all how much he loved us and how proud he was of his children. He disciplined us whenever he needed equally. I have so much respect for my father. I have two daughters and two granddaughters. I'd give my life if it meant saving theirs. But then what parent wouldn't do the same. Sometimes I amaze myself that I have so much love give. If I had 100 children I would love them all equally. But I'd like to think if I were a step-father I be just as good as he was. He has been gone over 15 years and my heart aches for him. I'm going through chemo and radiation treatments for lung cancer. I wish he were here just to give me some comfort and tell me "everything is going to be fine, son". I'm 63 years old and I still want my dad. Now come the tears.

Good luck with chemo man. You seem to be a great person and I believe your daughters and two granddaughters will have you in their life for a long time.

My respects to these gentlemen for the courage and love they show to these girls. I find it an excellent video and a punch in the face for these bastards who look at them differently and that instead of respecting them in every way they prefer to look at them with desire. There really are wonderful stepparents like these. My respects 🤜🤛💪🏻👏👏

I'm 44 and I want to do this with my 66 year old stepdad and he has been my Dad since I was 11 years old & it was my grandfather that told me to call him Dad as he felt my Dad was my Dad and I feel the same. My Dad is my Dad no matter if we share blood, No One Can take his place in my heart.

I could never be away from my child, even if i was divorced. A father has to be in his childs life, you couldn't drag me away from it, its my life.

I've watched a lot of these and I'm bawling, but I just thought something kinda hilarious and definitely awful: What if someone used this song to tell their daughter that she's adopted. It's terrible, but it did make me stop crying

These videos are proof positive that girls need a father figure in there lives as well boys do too.. That is why GOD created man and woman.. To marry and to establish the family.
