Today, I experienced the most tiring and stressful weekend . After waiting for such a long time in the queue the only thing I wished for was that the food would be statisfying. But the food was not worth it. I couldn't really enjoy the food, was just finding a way to spend the tokens collected. Intially I was excited watching this video but now I would rather not choose to go to such mela by falling to such videos. I would really expect and appreciate honest reviews wrt common man's experience.

I fully agree with above comment. We are all huge fan of you Kripal sir. But please show the improvement areas of this avarekaalu mela. Customers are treated like cattle by organisers & it needs to be disciplined by food & health and home ministry for maintaining law & order. It’s complete chaos. Since you are VIP , they treat you likewise. But common man story is totally different and are treated like animals.

I wish the farmers could organize and freeze the beans to send over to us on this side of the Atlantic. We get it frozen as 'Surti Papdi Lilva' in the Indian stores and the quality is surprisingly good. We even get the 'Sogudu' smell and flavor, it is that fresh.

Spandana food counter was charging 60 rs for masala puri and giving out 40 rs coupon. When asked they /started fighting saying nobody asked people to come and buy. So much for trying to supporting local initiatives..

We at Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur call it Pavta. In pune is called papdi or chapti vaal. It actually tastes better during this season which is the actual season which we enjoy in especially masale bhaat really spicy and yummy maharashtrian dish. Wonderful. Nice to see many snacks coming through avarebele. Dosa was so yummy with saru. Subtle note in ice-cream needs to be tasted, just like fuwa fuwa experience in London. Chike was looking so yummy. Thank for bringing the video to us .

We visited today for lunch and disappointed. There was huge rush, so paid 120 each for VIP entrance. After entry stood in queue for 45 mins to buy food coupons. Then each of us stood in seperate queues to collect the food. Every queue was another 30 mins. Who ever got the food gave it to others standing in their queues. This is same method used by many. All standing in 1 queue eating some other item. Couldn't sit in a place and enjoy the food. Place was very dusty which added to our problems. Finally the quality was poor. There was same side dish for every food. Roti, dosa , poori or anything only same saru. The oil was not changed from morning and getting black. I would recommend folks to skip this.

I remember last year’s vlog on this food exhibition and am sure this would be equally amazing. Oh it’s a ritual for 24 years . Kudos to Mrs Geeta 💯💯💯 She is so candid with her side of story ( factual ) . My dad loves Avarakai veg 👍👍 Swati was quite articulate in her version 👍 It’s indeed a celebration of Averakai . Wow from Kgs it’s gone to several Tons of Averkai based dishes . Swati was so candid and was apologetic for what happened in the past . It’s indeed a celebration of farmers 💯💯💯 I hope that that this year’s Mela was devoid of any inconvenience to the customers. Oh they have 45 food stalls for this year ( Isn’t it too less ) . Anyways time to taste the dishes . To start it’s the AB halwa . Haven’t never tried this . Time for the Ab bun ( kind of a different version of Vada Pav ) The AB vada has to be hit 👍 Oh that round shaped savoury looks tempting . ( Looks like it’s a variant or Muruku ) . Oh 3 years and they haven’t been able to figure out a chutney with the fried AB vada . Wow they experiment with the AB dishes . I agree that it looks like a Tempura ( I love this one ) . That’s a piping hot Masala Vadai 👍 The next pit stop is a Hot AB based Uthappam with the requisite condiment ( Sambhar ) . This is a certain hit for our dear Kripal ( Ying - Yang ) I think that they should have a timing for one section of customers else it would be a disaster. Whoa an AB chaat ( Masala ) Looks like an AB Bhel 👍 Good recommendation for the dessert section, Makhan Peda ( looks like Kala Jamun ) .The IC also is so unique and I would like to try it 👍 I sincerely hope that the customers would have enjoyed the AB based dishes including the Chikki . Hope they are not disappointed. Anyways I thoroughly enjoyed this vlog ( every segment of the vlog ) . Great initiative to help the farmers . Take care , stay strong and God bless. Today, I went to this location, and as she pointed out, there isn't a well-established system. The concept of having two counters only resulted in another one with a substantial queue. Additionally, 150 people were lined up with their children, waiting for tokens in one line, while another 100 people stood in line for food. The management appears to be lacking in proper planning, communication, and team coordination.

It's interesting to note that while Magadi is known for avarekai, the variety from Srinivaspur in Kolar is renowned for its superior quality and intense flavor. Might want to check on that.

The Avarekayi from Srinivasapur-Kolar is best quality, full of Sogadu n excellent taste! But the problem is that according to retail shops in Bangalore the Kolar Avarekayi is not liked by Bangaloreans! Organising Melas without proper marketing ideas is no use. This year also people citing problems for entry, buying tokens n getting food! I hope Swathi takes ideas from bloggers like Kirpal, Sihi Kahi Chandru or some experts n make the next year Mela enjoyable.

We just visited today, it was so chaotic even after buying online tickets..it was very poorly managed inside and the food was very mediocre...we couldn't get a refund of the tickets, hence had to struggle...i would not suggest people to come here, instead visit vv puram street food they are far better managed

I looked for the stall that had no que n saw d Bangarpet chat counter where i had d best panipuri n masalapuri . Next was dosa hithkebele saru.. Dosa was no match to d one they sell in their stall ar thindi beedhi. Last was a long que for Gobi which was good . Will check out d remaining dishes nexr year.

One of the worst management. Better they have to organise outskirts of Bengaluru instead of center of city. People can't park vehicle or can't get any vehicle. Once we enter into this place we have to wait in the queue for more than 1 hour to get the token😢. If we go with family for safety reason it's too dificult to enjoy in this type of crowd. Ans last one of friend vehicle beleno completely damaged in the parking area. Somebody hitt the vehicle and went there wa no police to lodged the complaints. They said you people should aware of this kind nd of crowd and take precautions yourself instead of getting into the problem. So my best advice is avoid this kind nd of mela especially for family people, let's enjoy by ordering online 😂 .

Today morning i visited the place after buying vip tickets online. What I have experienced is not worth to the hype it got created. I have to wait min 30 to 45mins with heated arguments to get one item. Why argument? Some intelligent people break queue and get what they want go, we are stupid people waiting in queue. We informed stall people about issue they are least bothered. There was no queue management and only one stall per item in vip section. Management has kept bouncers to make sure people bought tickets and food coupons not focused on how many tickets issued and how many stall required so the people experience what they said in video. I have went all the way from Whitefield to support farmer, cause and experience mela. But I am completely disappointed by the way management handled event.

After seeing your blog we went to the mela. Sorry to say it was a awful experience. There was queue for coupons for 1 hour then to get each item we had to wait for 3 hours we could get only 3 to 4 items. We got hair in akki roti, sambar and jalebi. No cleaniness. We came back. There were few counters and more shopping stalls They were not able to manage. Bad experience. Pl tell swati about this.

Also for the.mela organizers please provide how you would see this done better. Example. QR codes at counter or multiple lines for tokens. This is not an issue in this mela only. Horribly managed mela. Went there today and was very disappointed. It was only a tad better compared to last year but it was still a badly managed mela. The whole problem with the arrangements like last year is there are separate queues for collecting the tokens and collecting food, for each set of dishes and people therefore had to spend a lot of time buying each dish. And once it got late in the evening, in the dark it was not visible where the respective queues were for each set of dishes. I don't understand why Vasavi Condiments puts up such a poorly organised mela year on year. Not worth spending time on going to this mela. @FoodloversTV - could you please share this feedback with Vasavi Condiments?

It’s still overcrowded and still poor crowd management. Cashier and workers are spandana chat counter picking unnecessary fights with customers. DO NOT VISIT THIS TIME TOO. It takes an hour to take one dish and that too after dealing with aggressive counter holders. Horrible experience

We were very disappointed by poor management and over crowd. It is same everytime when we visited on 7-1-24 and highly prized items. Kripal Ammna Sir, I like your videos, but pls henceforth don't do promotion like this just for publicity. By now they should know how to organise an event on a bigger scale. ಊರಿಗೆಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ….ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದರೆ ಸಿಗೊದಿಲ್ಲ ಉಪಹಾರ…. ವಾಹನ ನಿಲುಗಢೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಸಿಕ್ಕ ಕಡೆಯೆಲ್ಲ ಸಂಚಾರ… ಏನಿದು ಅವಾಂತರ ಥೂ ಥೂ ಥೂ ……. Wish this lines reaches the organisers…. I was really unhappy for the kids, ladies & aged peoples standing in sunny & dusty queues to buy eateries….

Visited its over crowded, still missing customer management. Waiting time too high, quality of sambar its average. VIP entry for 120 its unexpectable and overpriced... For each item separate queue, its disgusting, each item spend 30+ minutes in each queue and where is the priority for senior citizens, not seen on sunday visit... Overall it was a messed up mela.....

Worst experience, more than providing good quality of food they are focussed on making money. They have turned into business rather than providing quality food. We had been there with lot of expectations but our expectations went in vain. Worst Avare bele Mela ever , Low quality food.
