That is usually what going for a PR on a weight that absolutely requires a spotter looks like. I really don't think out of safety and form concerns that girl goes above 50 for reps

@Neymar is my idol bruv it’s competition not bodybuilding. No wonder a Neymar fanboy is lacking the capacity. Change the rules oh you can’t? Than you have to play by them, because the others will use any advantage. And if you still didn’t understand I will repeat again…she lifts like she would in a competition where she maxed the 100kg and holds European Student record right now, so she can’t be that wrong can’t she? @Neymar is my idol you accused her of „basically cheating“ my dude. And again…she won championships. So her doing it like this is at the top most IN THE RULES. And I repeat…you train how you compete. Like there is not much point to training conventional deadlift, if your competition style is sumo. And you can hate as much as you want on sumo lifts or arches back…if the rules allow it and it is All About Winning…it would be stupid to not use everything. Neymar is too good, he should by himself decide to just hop on one leg- that is not against the rules, he is just self limiting. Your general point is and was invalid, as long as the competition rules are the competition rules.

I'm really not into that arching of the back. It limits the range of motion. But everybody's got to train the way they want.

Arching is MUST if you don't want fucked rotator cuffs. Yes it limits rom, which you'll build rom on other specific movements for things like chest, triceps etc. I've got a huge chest and bench 160Kg, I have a decent arch... all powerlifters arch and most have a huge chest.

@spectrum but why build that much chest strength that your other surrounding muscles can't keep up? Only reason I can see is for competitions or gym bragging rights.

@PewPew depends on what the person trains more. I usually train flat backed so with an arch I can barely do 5kg more. It's like the conventional vs sumo deadlift controversy (some people have stronger back, right hips & weaker quads so the conventional is stronger & some people have stronger quads, more flexible hips & weaker back so sumo is stronger).

It's actually the way you wanna do it after the weight gets heavier than 315. Benching flat back is more tasking on the shoulders, which is ok with anything around 2 plates but not for anything higher than 3

@@mrniceguy3660 I've found for my shoulders that a deeper ROM just puts me way more at risk for injury. I don't arch my back but above 75% of my 1RM I only lower it to about an inch or two above my chest

@@mrniceguy3660to be fair her Elbow is still at 90 degrees and many Guys dont even bench 95kg and for a Women thats still impressive. I morelikely thing that those people who can’t bench 100kg are those that Complain about her form. She’s done Pretty Good Form even with that room on her lowerback she still gets the 90 degrees on her Elbow and that prettymuch full range of motion. I dare those people to do more than their max with that form they might still not be able to add weight. You literally should Cry somewhere else or just go to the Gym.

Absolutely. It wasn't sped up a lot, but it was definitely sped up. The speed of his fall to the floor makes it pretty clear. I don't know why they bother as it's super impressive anyway!

As a teenager going to magic the gathering tournaments I was also getting into lifting. I asked another player (who was a fire fighter) about it who was around 45. He didn't have much advice other than that he just built up his strength to the point where he could pound out 225 (flat back) for a couple dozen reps at once. He had massive, functional strength.

Damn 95kg that is great!! mine is 107.5kg get 2-3 reps. I have a thing about benching I dont like it at all freaks me out. Deadlift is 230kg, squat 190kg

I think it was sped up at least 25% As for everyone else in the gym, I mean, he's just doing the flying pushups there to show off. You don't need gym equipment to do those but he chooses to come to a gym to do them so I'm not too surprised most people didn't even really look. Don't get me wrong, it's amazingly athletic, but time and place man, time and place.
