I’ll tell ya, the Patriots were geniuses at building up back up QB’s, like they would be superstars if Brady wasn’t blocking their path. They would take someone in the third or fourth round and trade them a few years later for a first or second. Same with their assistant coaches. Has one ever worked out with another team? And lastly, now that Brady is gone, we see just how good a coach Belichek really is. The key to her throwing, and this can apply to anyone, is her hand placement on the ball. Even though she has smaller hands, and obviously not the strongest arm because of her stature, the way she actually holds the ball is very important. The index finger extended to the tip of the ball is key, whether you use the seams or not. People who used this grip that we recognize as distance throwers in the NFL were Bradshaw, Cunningham, Jeff George, and I think Vick used it as well.

Seriously having been a QB for 4 yrs of HS , there's more than throwing a ball. We had lots of dudes who could throw a ball, but couldn't think or read a play. Honestly I could teach my sister to throw a ball, however it doesn't make her a QB. Can we all get real now?

Agree. As a coach, throwing ability (at least initially) is pretty low on my list for QBs. I can teach most people how to throw. QB has to put in more time outside of practice than any other position. QB has to be harder on himself (herself) than the coaches. QB has to know every offensive position for every play. QB has to be the toughest SOB on the field. Etc. But give the girl props. She's doing well at a sport we all love. That probably didn't come easy.

I tried to talk her into playing the sport in school but was like mom they will never let me play. I promise she is better than any guy I seen play at her school. Would have put them to shame.
