43:27 Charlotte Anglaise (14) is the 42nd son and 78th child of the Charlotte Family and a member of the Big Mom Pirates. His name comes from Crème Anglaise, a rich egg custard. This follows the eating/food-themed names of the Charlotte Family and Big Mom Pirates. His use of a "motorcycle", his style of hair and clothing, and his manner of speaking is reminiscent of a "bōsōzoku" or "greaser", an old school type of hooligan/gangster. It's actually a common trope in manga/anime that some teenagers adopt this style during their rebellious phase. This seems to be the case here with Anglaise: his age, style and behaviour all point out to a bōsōzoku (not brushing his teeth is the only thing he can think of doing to "rebel" since more grave things seem to be intolerable in LinLin's dictatorship of a family) 44:15 Why are you always surprised? 40:00 I know that the scene is supposed to lighten the mood but... Sanji forcing himself to lift his spirits for the sake of others (especially for a girl he doesn't really know) is heartbreaking to me. Also the fact that he's trying to tap into his heart eyed noodling around self which is something he knows that: 1- it sometimes brings him trouble, 2- it's another thing he has common with his brothers. The close up to his tightened fist at 40:01 is especially to show us how hard he fights with himself so he can actually act "like normal" under his current circumstances 40:48 I absolutely love this whole scene with Pudding! 1- We know by now that her favourite sister she talked to the StrawHats about was Lola. So the rumour that Nami killed Lola and took her Vivre Card upsets her greatly. 2- LinLin rejected her choice of wedding dress. Pudding is not allowed to pick neither the groom nor the guests, the type of ceremony, and of course neither the dress she will be wearing. She is given absolutely no agency. She's just a tool to her mother and nothing else. 3- Did you notice how Nitro the Jelly is absent? This is as much confirmation as we're getting that he's actually on Pudding's shoulder to spy on her and remind her that she's not her own person. The tragedy of all these points is reinforced by the melancholic music that plays in the background. Especially the ending of the scene with Pudding crying in the balcony ❤ All in all, a wonderful scene!

30:20 LinLin is talking about the Tamate Box. It was passed down the Neptune royal family for generations (all the way back since the Void Century). Originally it contained a chemical formula that could boost your strength in a time of need but with dire side effects later. It's what Hody Jones had stolen and had Zeo replicate in the form of the Energy Steroids. I have already talked about how this formula is similar to what both the Nefertari family of Alabasta and the Minks of Zou have also kept secret as a "national treasure". All three formulas have the same effects and side effects and were all passed down from the Void Century. Also, it's ironic/funny that LinLin says all these in order to taunt Luffy, when he really never cared about this superficial kind of treasure she imagines that's inside the Tamate Box. 31:14 The Charlotte siblings that witnessed Nami holding Lola's piece of LinLin's Vivre Card, all assumed that Nami stole it from her after killing her. That's what they probably said to their mother too. 31:32 Lola: "When you see her, tell her that I am doing fine" 😭 Poor Lola naively thinks that her mother forgave her and is worried about her 32:00 Look at how terrified her own children look 💔 This is not a face any parent should put on their own children's face. 32:38 Needless to say how wrong this phrase is. Children are not "indebted" to their parents. They can be grateful if their parents were kind and raised them well and so treat them well in kind. But "debt" is not a concept that should ever be associated with "family". 32:54 This is Nami's flashback. Hearing LinLin talk like this makes her understand why Lola was so fixed on marriage. Nami could never imagine a mother treating her children like this. LinLin is Bellmere's direct opposite in every way.

To sum it up: There are a total of three types of Poneglyphs scattered across the world: 1- "Historical Poneglyphs" reveal pieces of ancient history, as well as messages written by ancient people. 2- "Instructional Poneglyphs" contain instructions and/or clues about the locations of Historical Poneglyphs 3- "Road Poneglyphs" detail a location. The combined locations detailed by all four Road Poneglyphs allows one to locate Laugh Tale. The ones who talk about the Ancient Weapons are in the Historical category. For example: The first one in Shandora (which is in the part of Jaya that is now in Skypiea) is an Instructional one, revealing the location of the Poneglyph on FishMan Island. The one we saw in FishMan Island was a Historical one, revealing information about Poseidon. The one on Zou was a Road Poneglyph. From all of them, Robin's personal interest lies in those who are collectively called "the Rio Poneglyph" which all together reveal what happened during the Void Century. These all belong to the Historical ones and (if what Baron Tamago says here is true) are a total of 9 in number. Also, if Baron Tamago is not mistaken, there are 30 Poneglyphs in total. Lastly, please note that from all the places we visited, two of them originally had two kinds of Poneglyphs: The city of Shandora in old Jaya had one Historical and one Instructional. FishMan Island also had two originally: one Historical and one Road Poneglyph. But now only the Historical one remains. We don't know who took the other one or it's current whereabouts. 06:49 During the cover story "Solo Journey of Jimbei, Knight of the Sea" (set just after the FishMan Island arc) Jimbei finds a stray Poneglyph by chance. He gifted that one to LinLin in the hopes that it would soften the blow of him leaving her crew. This is how LinLin ended up with so many: one Road and two Historical ones.

@@pritzenritz629 We actually found out about it first in Alabasta and then again in FishMan Island: Crocodile was looking for the Poneglyph that would lead him to Pluton, meaning it would contain instructions for how to find it. When Robin was talking to Neptune, she said that a Poneglyph she found in Skypiea lead her to the Sea Forest and the Poneglyph there.

@@pritzenritz629 Well, I guess we'll see at the end if they are really important or not 😅 I have always found it curious how Robin never reveals anything she reads on the Poneglyphs. I mean, we eventually had confirmation from her about two of the Ancient Weapons but even that was extremely minimal information. She obviously knows much more, about the Ancient Weapons, the Void Century and the secrets of the OnePiece world as a whole. She just does that thing all scientists (and detectives) do: "I have not concluded my research so I can not tell you for sure". But it's fine. I can wait. (Secretly dreading the day everything is revealed and OnePiece ends 😱😭)

Because of his silly antics sometimes we forget how he's a seasoned pirate and a former captain to that. I have already mentioned this a couple of times but, Brook's silly aspect is something new he developed after his 50 years of solitude. During his first life (before Yomi-chan's effect) he was a pretty serious person, being the voice of reason to his laid back captain Yorkie. Here, Brook and Pedro are such a good duo because of their similar characters and experiences: both serious and dedicated men, both former captains who lost their crews in battle.

The mirrors inside Brûlée's "Mirro-World" also answer when being questioned, similar to the mirror from Snow-white. - Brûlée's attempt to eat Carrot, while inside a house made of cookies, resembles the witch from the famous fairy tale "Hänsel and Gretel". Her defeat by being doused in the soup she was going to boil Carrot in mirrors the witch's demise, who was stuffed in the oven that the witch intended to force Gretel into. Brûlée's defeat by boiling water may also be an allusion to the Wicked Witch of the West, a witch character from the famous children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. @@pritzenritz629 It's because usually people can't see beyond their grief of *that* event. Also, most people tend to put the Charlotte siblings in the same category as their mother, which is criminally if you ask me. They can't see their nuances even though they are clearly displayed, especially in the anime. But it's fine. I can see how they really are and that's enough for me 😊

I can see a lot of things in between every sibling too, and since i also wrote my final exam in psychology and education, i can see a lot of things other people might not seen in first place too ^^, but in case of perospero in my opinion the only thing that might be discussionable is that he probably has the best and highest family connection to Big mom, i mean he is the first son, and obviously a first son should have to respect his parents at all ( ofc in rl it is not that easy every time). But Perospero i don't know, i personally can't see anything else in him that is praiseworthy ^^'. But as you said already, of course it is a personal opinion, but it would be interesting to read what else you would possible praise on him except his evil personality 🤔

33:40 LinLin is delusional. I can't say why because of spoilers but... What she has done in the past wouldn't have been fixed simply by Lola's marriage (Also, this is unfortunately something that happens often: parents wanting to use their children to fix situations they themselves have created) Also, she's twice delusional because she has no idea what "Pirate King" actually means. Again, I can't get into details because of spoilers but... Simply being strong, or even the strongest, doesn't make you Pirate King. I wonder what LinLin thinks the OnePiece is 🤔 (We'll talk about this again 2-3 canon arcs from now) 34:20 This is relatively rare for Luffy, taunting his opponents like this. LinLin had started rubbing him the wrong way all the way back in FishMan Island. Then she seemingly went after Sanji. This whole conversation here was the last drop. I have mentioned before how some fans think that at some point Luffy started getting more angry more easily. Personally, I get it. He's not his relatively naive self getting out of Dawn Island. He's older and has seen enough to get fed up more easily with people's bs.

Personally, I try to forget these people exist 😅 I have unsubscribed from many channels because they hated on one of the StrawHats (It's usually Sanji or Usopp or Nami, in this particular order. Some even hate on Zoro, like my cute Marimo isn't the best). I mean, it's fine not to be crazy about them, but straight up hating and slandering them is a big no for me 🤬

Her size obviously comes from LinLin since the LongLeg Tribe is sized as normal humans. Even though her loyalty to her mother is uncanny, it seems that she still wanted a connection to her father's Tribe which is why she tattooed her thigh like pure blood LongLegs do. - She is the only female among the Three Sweet Commanders. - She serves as Totto Land's Minister of Juice, governing over 100% Island (The name of the island is a possible reference to 100% juice or pure fruit juices, those which do not have artificial additives) - Fun trivia: Oda-sensei initially intended for Smoothie to have the Shiru Shiru no Mi (Juice Juice Fruit) and then the Kaju Kaju no Mi (Fruit Fruit Fruit) before deciding on the Shibo Shibo no Mi.

@@pritzenritz629 I know people think I'm weird but I love all the Charlotte siblings and the Vinsmoke siblings ❤️ It has nothing to do with "drip" or anything superficial like that. They are poor things that I would adopt in a heartbeat and provide a loving and nurturing environment for them, instead of the fucked up one they were born in (I am not saying that parenting is easy, but there are definitely much better parents than LinLin and Judge)

24:50 A couple of things: 1- Doffy doesn't have children. If you are talking about his family, I have already commented on how they were the ones who started worshipping him first, fanning the fantasy in his mind that he's above everyone else (Trebol and his way of handling and raising Doffy is criminally, I tell you). Also, Doffy was in no way a successful ruler. 2- You are implying that you need to be a shitty person to be "successful" with which I highly disagree. 3- I have mentioned many times that one of the themes of OnePiece is "How to be a leader". From your various comments all throughout the series it seems that you disagree with this particular message. Which is fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. But my comment was not for Judge as a leader (which I think he also sucks as), but as a father. This is a private moment between them as family and he doesn't even sit at the same table as his own children. He's looking down on them from his throne like they are something beneath him. It's actually pretty reminiscent of how Robin's uncle's family treated her (she was not allowed to eat at the same table as them). I hope I don't have to spell out how wrong this is. And if you want to take the leader route: A good leader is someone who provides means/a system so that the people who are "depending" on him can function and survive even in their absence. This is what Luffy does as a captain (and many characters but also first time watchers/readers admire that in him), and what Vinsmoke Judge does not. None of his heirs are fit to govern a country because they fail to understand nuances and balances that are vital to running a country (maybe Reiju is somewhat capable but definitely not one of the boys). Because of the same reason, they are also unfit to continue his legacy as a scientist. And that's exactly the point: Judge doesn't care about his country or his family. He only cares about his personal glory. He wants people to look at his "children" and say "Oh, what a great scientist Judge is!", instead of recognising their own ability and strength. He wants people to look at Germa and say "Oh, look how strong Judge made them!", instead of recognising the power of the Germa Kingdom. For Judge, it's all about himself.
