I don't have to experience it first hand to know the things I have experienced myself that unhealed issues stay unhealed. I'm glad you are in therapy. If you reverse the clips on your fridge the little strap wont flap out into your fridge every time you open the door. So put the side that you have on the door on the side of the fridge and the side on the side of the fridge on the door. We have those clips on my kids’ dressers and it got super annoying till I realized I could just position them the opposite way.
