I am 3 years natural and had my hair professionally highlighted back in April and again like early June. No bleach but she did use a 20 developer, maybe a 30 can’t remember. Anyway, now I want a relaxer, do I have to wait for my highlights to grow out more or should I be okay since it’s been a few months? I don’t want all my hair to fall out in the sink LMAO 😩

I believe you can but I personally wouldn't do it lol. I think your hair will definitely suffer so I don't recommend it. Just wait and then relax it when it's all grown out. However, you can actually colour relaxed hair (just not the other way around).

Flora Styles yikes now I’m scared! My hair stylist was like why not try a Brazilian Keratin treatment I’m like that is wayyyyy too much heat and I don’t want heat damage. My hair gets heat damage way too easy and I don’t like that curly hair and straight ends look. I keep pushing myself to do the relaxer and my stylist was like okay we can do the relaxer but we really need to take it easy. And I’m like uhhhhh what do you mean?? Lol. Dang maybe I should just get the heat damage and get my hair straightened every few weeks for the next 2 years until this color grows out huh 😩😩

Well a Keratin treatment won't be so bad because that's not really stripping your hair. But yes, it uses a lot of heat. However, if you want to relax you're gonna have to cut off the hair anyway so if you want to keep silk pressing it then that's probably advisable for now. So she's right tbh lol.

The end result was not worth cutting off your hair. I’m sorry but you don’t look good with short hair. Some styles are not for everyone.

I totally agree, I do hair in my spare time, and would refuse to cut her hair this short, even though she asked for it...the stylist should have left more hair, in my opinion...bad bad haircut
