I would say that an Ombudsman outcome which states 90% of women did know about the change means that the government's (and the previous government's) decision not to give out free money is delivering that justice. With any change there will most likely always be around 10% of impacted individuals who will nto become aware of the change. Tax payers cannot keep compensating people for their lack of awareness.

Badenoch is protected by her African heritage in failing to appreciate the huge extent of the damage to the fiscal purse perpetrated by the 100Billion pound Conservative loss with the scrapping of HS2 and the 700 million pound loss on the illegal Rwanda deportation scheme! The UK treasury cannot sustain these massive haemorrhaging Conservative losses and hope to pay out compensation to the Conservative Waspi scheme for pensioners which was never properly honoured by the Conservatives anyway?

If any of these things happened under the Tories... it wouldn't be reported, and nobody would care. The right wing media will use anything and everything they can throw at them to try and see if it sticks, they NEVER took the Tories to task like this. Ever. Starmer gets a £400 pair of glasses gifted to him and it's a disgrace, but Boris has £800 rolls of wallpaper donated to him and... nothing, it had to be leaked and then largely ignored by the right wing press. Let's not forget the £800,000 line of credit he got. Again, leaked and largely ignored. PPE contracts for mates, test and trace app contracts for mates, none of whom had the facility or expertise to provide such things but still got hundreds of millions and indeed billions in the case of the test and trace. It's worth mentoring we had a working, world leading test and trace system in place before 2011 that was set up after SARS in 2003. The Tories got rid of it during austerity.

Badenock was one of those who voted to break Britain. That's an economic fact! The waspi was started on 1995 under John Major. And it began in 2010. In Tory governments! T pay waspi compensation - when 90% should have known it (my wife did!) - you need to have debt falling! And that isn't! So sadly not a lot could be done. And why didn't 14 years of Tory do a fix?

@@Skidddersss When a government does look after its own by raising taxes on the two wealthiest demographics in the country and closing tax loopholes like non-dom or collecting VAT on private school fees, or even things like giving workers a raise in minimum wage and full rights from day one on the job rather than after two years... most of the press whines about it.
