As soon as Rose stepped off the trailer, I thought ... she’s pregnant. BONUS!! She’s a pretty thing, and so happy to know she’s from good stock. The piglets are adorable ... so fun to watch them run and play, and Ginger will, no doubt, come around. What a lovely home you provide for your animals. You are wonderful stewards of all that God has blessed you with. ♥️

Y'all are purely WONDERFUL!! Now....having grown up on a registered Jersey farm (I've mentioned this before) in Northeast Mississippi, I know, first hand, the value of having a registered Jersey with a great pedigree. Y'all are so smart to go in this direction. We had championship cattle, participated fully in 4-H, and used the award proceeds from showing our cattle in dairy shows to pay for most of our college tuition. My dad was the Extension Dairyman for Mississippi for many years--and now, there is a special award (the Arlis Anderson Showmanship Award) in his memory for the Outstanding Junior Showmanship Competition at our State Fair each year, since he judged so many competitions and we children had to make sure that our cattle were not only top notch in appearance and production, but also were so well trained in leading around the arena that we won tons of showmanship competitions. That was the cherry on top. Then, after Daddy retired as the MS Extension Dairyman, he was hired by the American Jersey Cattle Club as the first--and only--"Official Classifier." This meant that he traveled throughout the US to visit farms, "judge" their cattle, and he would place official ratings on the cattle--thus, improving their perceived quality for breeding and exhibition results. It was so much fun to travel with Daddy in the summer times, because we not only got to see amazing places in the US, but also to visit the top farms in the US and Canada. What an education! During those travels, we visited many farms in Missouri...and I'll bet we even visited farms near where you live. Anyway, I just want to offer my heartiest congratulations on your getting Rose. In short time, she will become like a member of the family, if my years experience with our Jerseys is any indication. Many were the times that my older brother, David, or I would like down beside one of the cows, go to sleep, and wake up to find that the cow had put her head over on our bodies. Such a warm, comforting feeling! Too, thanks so much for the bold Christian witness y'all give. You don't bang people over the head with your faith, but we can tell by the way you give a consistent, genuine living testimony to us. May God pour out the bounty of His blessings upon you, your girls, and your entire homestead.

Sarah - I have to commend you! I remember when you were nervous with Hope and you have come such a long way! AND I can’t say how proud I am in your body language and eye contact (or lack thereof!) with Rose. Not many people know how to interact with skittish animals like that and it’s amazing to see your growth. Congratulations and good luck with all the new critters!

Good morning LTH❣ Your new additions, Rose, Ginger and your new cattle trailer are so BEAUTIFUL ❤ I simply love the way you keep your homestead so pretty and clean. That probably sounds weird. But I love how your feeding stations and water pans are so clean. I think its important especially since they are being raised for meat and milk for your family. Your homestead is absolutely the best. Praying many blessings for you both and the family. Much love from West Virginia ❤

Congratulations on your newest addition to your herd. She'll make you great cow. I grew up on a farm with 8 siblings in the 60's. We always had milk cows. Jerseys and Guernsey. They'd give us 5 gallons of milk each. Twice a day morning and evening each cow would fill a 10quart milk pail. We couldn't use that much milk so we'd make butter and cottage cheese and fed the left over to the pigs. Along with having a milker comes a lot of chores, you have to be there for them twice a day morning and evening. I truly miss the cream collected from the milk and the butter and cottage. Wish you all the best.

So happy you found a registered jersey cow, the breed has always been my favourite. We moved into a new home when i was 4 and it was built on farm land, the cows would get into our yard and some mornings i would wake to a cow scratching her back on the corner of the house where my bedroom window was. One particular jersey was the one that would come to my window and i named her Rose, such a pretty girl.

Rose is beautiful!!! She seems to have a good disposition. She didn’t seem to mind you brushing her until to got to her neck. The baby pigs are soooo cute. I loved watching them play with each other. They are full of energy for sure. I was so surprised to see the baby cows. My heart is full with all this cuteness! One thing I really like about cows is when they are chewing their cud, they look at you as of to say “What? You never seen a cow chewing their cud?’ Ok maybe it’s just me that thinks that. But they are so cute when they calmly sit there chewing away. Love your videos and how you treat your animals.
