Good morning from Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 we are having a gorgeous sunny start to our day today. We have had rain for what seems like forever but I suppose that’s what April is all about “April Showers” bring “May flowers” LOL Thank you for your videos I always look forward to watching them. I live in downtown where the streets aren’t paved with gold but they are paved and pretty much every place around here is. So having a chance to see all that absolutely beautiful green grass and the landscape scenery just gives me a chance to live vicariously through you. You are both incredibly hard workers, Sara you do the work of most men!! I know you count your blessings and it’s easy to see how grateful you are for everything you have. It’s sure nice to see that hard work and consistency pays off in the long run. I think you both demonstrate what it is and what it means to be stewards of the land and caretakers of animals. Thank you for showing even when things don't go exactly as you thought they should. Your animals look soooo healthy and your calves are always soooo full of energy and vitality! Even Rose was running and jumping around on the new fresh salad bar. I know if I were a cow I would want you to be my farmer! Lol! Congratulations on all your wonderful blessings and May they continue to shower down upon you and your family. God bless. 🙏🏻🥰🇨🇦

Seeing your Melotte milking bucket ( different name in US? ) brings back memories 57 years ago, when my late father ceased milking cows in South Devon, England, and focused on beef cattle. ...... He repurposed the buckets to carry molasses, which he poured onto hay in the winter. ...... The strong handle made pouring easy. ...... The cattle loved it! ...... We did too! ...... The molasses arrived in 205 litre steel drums, and had to be lifted up with a chain-block fitted to a large tripod - quite a major operation!

Lol I was thinking a milk room would make their lives easier, my aunt had one. And when they got out of milk(farms were going to huge factory farming back then and small dairies like theirs just were kinda pushed out cuz they didn't produce enough milk to make it worthwhile to stop and collect it etc... Well anyhoo when they got out of the milk it made the perfect produce cleaning room and being its a naturally cool area(on hot summer days my cousins and I would get snacks and go actually lay on the floors in there lol). I think it could be a worthy addition to the farm.
