Happy birthday Danny! Hope you have a great day! A Scottish breakfast simply must have haggis on it and a tattie scone. Little Rock Café, Brodick. Isle of Arran, a 'solid eleven' in my book! Eleven Scottish quid. Value for money! Lots of places in Scotland also serve red pudding, not normally with breakfast, but it is a true delicacy! I wouldn't choose tinned tomatoes on any sort of breakfast. It's easy to bung some fresh, halved tomatoes in the griddle pan. Tastier and healthier. Anyway, have a good one Danny! Love and peace.

White pudding contains white pork fat, oats, milk, and the whiter part of leeks. The Scottish square sausage is a mixture of beef steak and shoulder of pork, with a powder called rusk to help bind the meats together and it’s packed into a type of loaf tin and compressed , when it’s removed from the tin it looks like an old hand made red brick which is then cut into slices usually around half an inch thick but the customer can ask for it to be cut to their chosen thickness.’s proper name is Lorne sausage. The only thing that is missing is a Welsh breakfast with cockles and bacon and lava bread, a type of seaweed which also makes a good partner with black pudding and a runny fried egg.

Ex Butcher and Meat Salesman here! ..We used to buy white Pudding in from Scotland. The supplier on the West coast made his with Barley, rusk, fat, spices, etc (No Meat!) and the supplier on the East coast made his with the same kind of stuff but also minced Pork! ..also, I've seen versions with sultanas in as well!
