I'm really loving She-Hulk so far but I feel like I'm looking for the direction that we're going in. If this is just the She-Hulk origin story, I'm cool with that, 100%, but it feels like we're still dipping our toes in at episode 3. As far as the portals, I think one was Wundagore and the gas station _almost_ looked like the one from Cloak and Dagger (great show on Hulu, highly recommend)? And y'all are right: the people who are looking for things to complain about are the *exact* people who need to open their fucking eyes to the perspective of others, ironically enough.

I get where the guy is coming from. Jen did tell him about the time she had to transform for her job so he knew. With that said it was still unexpected for her to suddenly spring petite Jen on him. Imagine you had sex with someone on the first date and woke up and they had changed their hair colour. That might send red flags about how changeable the person was. Jen literally changed into a different person so how much more alarming would that be.

I think the reason people are taking against some of these recent shows/movies so strongly (though some are certainly flawed) is because they're a lot more individualistic in terms of tone compared to previous phases. Phase 1 - 3 was a lot more consistent, almost homogenised - you knew what to epect from the MCU. The more recent stuff is way more varied, and we're seeing very different shows with a lot of the writers/director's touches showing through. Multiverse of Madness is so wildly different to Eternals, and She-Hulk is very different to Moon Knight. This is how the comics are and now the films are starting to follow suit. That means they just aren't going to please everyone. People need to just accept that and focus on the bits they do like.
