There’s at least three more performances you MUST MUST MUST watch!! PLEASE!! 1. Her live performance of ‘Why’ at the Arista Records 25th Anniversary. She was introduced on stage by Melissa Etheridge as “a true artist”. She plays the piano and sings with no other accompaniment in a massive room filled with music industry VIPs and brings the house down. 2. The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium where she performed Freddie’s part in the song ‘Under Pressure’ with David Bowie and Queen . The dress she wore should be in a fashion museum. Her hair and make up - no one else could pull off. Her appearance and performance were a perfect homage to Freddie’s love of theatrics. 3. 2004 Oscars performance of ‘Into the west’ from ‘The Lord of the Rings’. She won the Oscar for best song and was stunningly beautiful in an ice blue Stella McCartney dress.

Annie Lennox is a favourite singer of mine from way back … I first saw her performing in 1982 with the Eurythmics & was totally mesmerised by her. When she went solo a number of years later, it was a great move for her & allowed her to soar like an eagle on the wind. Still love listening to her. So I’ve been a fan of her for over forty years & enjoyed watching her evolve in her music. I am also a big fan of Elvis, & thoroughly enjoyed your Reactions to him, but you haven’t done one in quite a long time now, so I am hoping you will React to “Trying to Get to You” on the ‘68 Comeback Special. Oh this was ga great reaction! I want you to do a reaction to so many of Annie's songs. I suggest the original video of "I Need a Man" (have the lyrics on hand for just that one song). And seriously, I suggest that on the same show, follow up with "Savage". There are these women in purple (5 of them that I can recall) and in Savage, in the same dress, the personna's mood takes a 180° turn. Savage has I think my very favorite written line in a Eurythmics song. In the song "Beethoven" (again, you need to see the *fabulous video) that purple dress comes out of the closet at the very final scene, and you are left to wonder, is Beethoven happening before or after, this personna's time when she was popping up on a little nightclub's stage to sing "I Need a Man"? It's hard to decide.
