Most of the Hellsing Ultimate Abridged episodes came out a year apart, so there a lot of growth in TFS's writing, voice acting, and editing between episodes 1 and 2.

It's honestly my favorite part about Hellsing UA; watching it really shows you how far TFS' abilities came during their primary run. They went from just "writing" memes all over the place to creating deep characters using pre-existing source material. It's a pity they stopped DBZA when they were hitting their stride, but A) It's better to have gone out on a high note and B) I'm just glad they gave us what they did

Fun fact about the intro song: it's not the show's intro, it's Alucard's; if you watch carefully, in the episodes where Alucard doesn't appear, the song is omitted and then plays entirely as Alucard returns Edit: the Carmen Sandiego reference is because they both wear red coats with wide-brimmed red hats

There's a couple of brief moments in the last episodes where I think the original did a bit better with Alucard and Seras. In the abridged the headpat is adorable, but there was a bit more of a moment in the original. But in general I agree.

Releasing his “Restraint Levels,” Alucard essentially taps into his powers’ full capacity. The dog he summons is Baskerville I believe, a hellhound that he’s under some sorta contract to be able to use. Any and all beings he absorbs and drinks the blood of, become part of him, and if I remember, I think he can puppet their corpses and powers by extension? Could be wrong about that last part, but I’m hella stoked to see more of Kirby’s reactions too! Hope you both enjoy this show!

Takahata does a weekly D&D with his friends and sister (Montyglu on KZbin). Lanipator also had a weekly D&D with friends on the TFS Gaming channel. One man in common was Zito, the voice of the front desk phone guy. Zito was Lani's DM, and plays Task, the Kobold Ranger, in Taka's game. I doubt they'd be good for reacting as each episode is around two to three hours, but if you want to kill some time while editing, TFS at the Table is complete and has a lot of absolutely beautiful moments. You'd love Eloy, but you'd lose your mind over Chromagill. As for The Unexpectables, Borky the Orky is a laugh a minute, especially his morning ritual. He suplexes a hag *to death* and turns her skull into a goblet, as well.

Has anyone noticed that Alucard is actually kinda respectful-ish to Walter ? Well, for Alucard. He has confided with him at times which means he must trust him. I mean seriously, Alucard didn’t even question it for a second when Walter said he wasn’t allowed to go to Brazil. Being over 500 years old and you’d think he’d wonder for even a moment wether it was manipulation when Walter told him Not to go somewhere. But he trusted him at his word. That is a lot of respect and trust. P.S. yeah. I had those same reactions to this episode that you did when it got to certain parts of it. It’s a great episode.. the perverted psychopath just makes me not like watching it. Ugh! 😫

And right before that Sir Integra asks how Alucard's job in Japan went. To which he reply's "Oh, you know... ninety nine... point nine percent done..."
