I like how it starts with almost a church-like vibe with the organ because they are about to tell facts. Jimmy wrote this song after a break-up (no surprise there) and it's one of the few Zep songs where they are all harmonizing on it. Glad you're continuing with the entire catalogue.

@@t-bonestickyfingers1336 music is played at a variety of places and a variety of buildings. My word choice was as an adjective to describe the music and had nothing to do with religion. If there was a calliope, I'd've said it was "circus-like". Please take your outrage elsewhere.

The intro was done on a Hammond B-3 organ. It’s an electric organ made to emulate that of a pipe organ. It’s Leslie Speakers are crucial to its overall sound. John Paul Jones was brought up under the piano. His parents were in the biz. He’s been on the road since he was 2 years old! He’s a master musician.

A lot of us older guys that were there in the beginning of the Led Zeppelin era, think the early, more Bluesy stuff on the first two albums was their best music. It was still very Raw and gritty sounding. It was the late 1960s and they were going to take over the Rock/Blues scene.

I love that he's doing the songs and albums in order. When I finally started listening to Zeppelin (1983), I fortunately started with the first album... and was hooked. My friend said "Yeah my sister has all of their albums". I put on each album and listened to about 30 second of each song. Went through all of the albums in one sitting... I just had to get a taste of it all. Then I went to his house every day until I had listened to every album in order, with headphones (which should be required). All Zep newbies should experience it that way. Their musical evolution is amazing.

One of my All-Time Favorites Heavy influence on keyboards and bass by the Glue that holds this band together (but doesnt get the credit he deserves) Mr John Paul Jones. The mastery it takes on so many of their songs for him to dub in sounds track by track post the original recordings... you can literally feel it when you are listening on headphones...Thank you again!!!

Something you have to keep in mind when you're listening to this band is that they stole the vast majority of their music from unheard of artists. They are hands down the biggest music thieves in the history of music. As amazing as they are, they screwed over so many artists by stealing their early recordings and not giving them credit. Truth is truth.
