Rhiannon is a Welsh pagan goddess. There are lots of different versions of her story, but they all generally agree that Rhiannon's horse was the fastest of all horses, and men who would love to love her would give chase, but her horse would only slow down for the man of her choosing. Also, the Birds of Rhiannon is also in the lore (the Adar Rhiannon). Idk what book she was reading, but it seemed to hit on a few points from the actual mythology.

Queen Stevie said before the song started. " This song is about a Welsh witch." It's not really about an old witch, lol.. Stevie wrote this song after reading a book about this witch. At the time, she said it fascinated her. Hence, Rhiannon, one of the best songs EVER, was born. ❤❤❤

Christine, the blonde on the keys, was married to the other guitarist, John, but was hooking up with one of their roadies. She wrote "You Make Loving Fun" about that roadie. They had all sorts of drama!

The blonde woman who sings and plays piano and keyboards and also writes a lot of their stuff, and she passed recently, she was in the band well before Stevie Nicks joined. She is a core part of the band and wrote some of their biggest hits. Her heartbreakingly beautiful song called Songbird got played heavily in eulogy after she passed recently.

Christine and John McVie. John played bass and Christine played key boards and wrote alot of their music. Their marrage was on the rocks along with Stevie, Lindsey and Mick's issues while writing the music for the Rumors album. Most of the songs where them lashing out againts each other. ❤️💔❤️

Stevie had relationships with Lindsay Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, she was briefly married (a whole story in itself), Don Henley , Joe Walsh (both masterclass from the Eagles). Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. One thing is for sure: if you were alive in the seventies; every girl wanted to be her and every guy wanted to be with her!

Production on that Rumors album was so smooth, it could trick you into believing this band didn't know how to jam like a bar band. Surprise! You should definitely do some deep diving into some more Midnight Specials. Peter Frampton doing "Do You Feel Like We Do" and Blondie doing "One Way or Another" are a couple of great choices.
