Great vlog as usual . The lights problem is because most modern cars light up the dashboard even when your lights are off . I don't even trust auto lights either , it's not hard to turn a switch and check.

Yea they are indeed 747's the queen of the skies they called them. Absolutely great aircraft unfortunately now retired for many companies due to their age and running costs. They are being replaced with a variety of different aircraft including the Boeing dream liner range which are also beautiful.

I agree with Logan. The builders yard where you had to back up to swing out. The company could dismantle that large wall to your right as you are turning, so there would be plenty of room for any trucks your size to get out. Also, the planes are 747s :)

Great vlog, BA parked it’s wide body fleet, or at least some of it, in Kemble. They were stored by Air Salvage Intl sister company GCAM, a storage and maintenance company. The 3 jumbos are more than 20 years old and thought to retiring from the fleet anyways.

As you pulled out of that builders merchants in Daventry, I had a case of the deja vus, I quite often delivered to Metokote next door, where all the steel stillages are stacked up. If their yard was busy I'd have to sit on the road outside TBS.

Kemble/Cotswolds Airport and yep, those are BA Boeing 747-400s, all awaiting the scrapman, sadly. Apart from the one in the old BA Negus livery, which has been saved from that fate.

Someone correct me if im wrong, the planes are boeing 747 and british Airwayss had 7 I think, but over a period of 18 months got rid of all of them, they were/will not be replaced with new ones, but they were sent there for parts.

Well if you have a curtain sider and thieves want in to see what they can steal just as well leave the door open, but I always kept my door padlocked with a seal on it as you weren't allowed to break the seal only those at the delivery point were allowed to take the seal off ,but that was usually on box trailers whare everything came out the back, I sometimes used curtain siders but still kept them shut and padlocked for insurance purposes, because if someone broke in that was breaking in and entering to steal which is a criminal offence, and then you can claim the insurance, but not if you leave the doors open!

Luke I’d sooner drive the 105 than the 106 as the Eco mode in the 106 is no good for pulling up hills, plus the AEBS can be a nightmare sometimes if someone passes too close on your right side

1 do hgv's have auto gearbox's ? i never see you changing gear. 2 why slash the curtain can you not just undo it to look inside ? 3 i was told the rear door's are left open to stop the truck exploding due to air pressure change from different temps ect ? 4 are the seat's fixed to the truck ? they seam to move around a lot.

yeah one thing that really annoys me is the fact the EU government made it law that all vehicles should have daytime running lights fitted as standard to the front of all new vehicles. but when you look there is sod all lights to the rear of the vehicles, so drivers just drive with daytime running lights at night, and doesn't make that much difference to the visability infront of them, so they don't switch on there lights until quite a few people flash their headlights.
