I really enjoyed your analysis and explanation of the techniques Tommy uses. My previous favourite R&A of this video by Tommy was made by David K reacts. He has a more musical theater and videographic perspective in his analysis, not being a vocal coach. Still I think you would find some pleadure in watching his take on Tommy. You 2 really complement each other, IMO. Looking forward to more analysis of Tommy from you. Your perspective and knowledge of metal singing have given me much pleasure. ❤

Tommy is a great multi musicer hwo plays most intrument and voice like a rock angel. one thing what i love with tommy is that u can really see how much fun he have djuring recording :-) Keep ém Rolling! 🤘

Very good reaction and analysis. I would say that his 'less emotional' interpretation is partially because in this case, he was singing directly to his girlfriend, who was filming it. I recommend reacting to Winner Takes It All, which he also performs with a different emotional 'flavor'; in that case, I would say Agnetha sings it sad, Tommy sings it mad. Edit: I just have to say, after thinking about it further, your analysis was one of the best and most insightful I have seen in quite some time.

Grazie mille per questa recensione così interessante e dettagliata. È stato molto interessante sentire l'opinione dell'insegnante di canto sulle capacità della voce di Tommy. Non sono d’accordo con il punto secondo cui dovrebbe esserci espressione nei versetti. Secondo me, questa è piuttosto una dichiarazione del fatto che la relazione è finita. E la vera espressione è necessaria proprio nel coro, quando risuona il grido di disperazione. Nel complesso un'ottima recensione, grazie mille!

I would point out that Tommy is self taught. No music lessons apart from school lessons and books. Same with playing all his 12 instruments. There have been a number of 'experts' who claim he auto tunes (Team Tommy shot them down in no time as many have seen his live shows). From your comments I think you are giving him more positive comments but you just have to remember, no lessons. Team Tommy love him and his music genius. Thanks for your reaction.

Yes, Tommy is so very talented, great voice and excellent guitarist but, yep there’s a but, he’s not pleasant to look at, hair is scraggly and in his face in most of his songs, my personal view. Great musician though.
