Hello, Waleska and Efra! Thanks for featuring this performance of Mori in the Fusion 2023! It's a music festival in the Philippines held at CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) Open Grounds, with thousands in attendance. I think there were around 15 artists (individuals and groups) that performed that night, inclusing SB19, Bamboo, KZ Tandingan, and of course, Morissette! The way I look at it, her performance of "Ang Huling El Bimbo" was what got the crowd for her, among the three songs that she performed. It helps that the song was so popular among Filipinos, that they could actually sing along with her. Unfortunately, this was not the case for "Trophy" and "Mirror" because even though these two are her originals, they are not yet widely-known and recognized, partly because they are relatively new compared to El Bimbo, and also there is not much exposure like playing in the airwaves (radio, TV, other mass media) so they are virtually unknown to the audience there except for Mori's fans. So it was timely that the festival was held just a few weeks after the release of Troy Laureta's "Dalamhati" OPM compilation album which included this re-arranged El Bimbo for Mori, so that they were able to include it in her set, I guess as part of promoting it also, and it became a "win-win" for her and the audience, as well as for Star Music which owns the album. Thanks to Dave Lamar for the superb cinematography, capturing the scenes of Mori among the multitude of people was great, as well as with the band (Troy, Xergio, Luke, etc), and also the high-quality audio mix. And also for including that short clip of behind-the-scenes where we can see Mori jubilant after her amazing performance, and going straight to Troy and the band backstage to acknowledge them, she always does that, she acknowledges her team for every performance and does not take the credits all to herself. As the introduction to her that night, she is "Diva Morissette" -- but without the "diva attitude" -- and that's one of the things we adore about her. 🥰

SB19 was also in this concert. They were the finale…pls watch it. The concert ended around 2am. And they sang Gento three times because of technical issues. On the first Gento, they sang acapella halfway the song. They are so professional.

Hi! May I ask for a new name / artist to be featured? Lovi Poe, a singer and an actress. Specifically, the Banyo-oke (Bathroom-oke/Bathroom karaoke) cover session of “Di Lang Ikaw” with Ogie Alcasid. It can be found in Ogie’s KZbin channel. The song was originally popularized by Juris and was the OST to Lovi’s movie The Annulment. Efra asked before who she was in one of those group specials in ASAP (or was it GMA’s?) that you featured in the past, but she only had a short role/part in those group specials and wasn’t named. Actually, Ogie Alcasid’s Banyo-oke cover sessions were funny. He really committed to the concept where he, his guests and even his back up guitarist wore bathrobes whilst performing in his bathroom. Too bad he only had a few episodes of those.
