Just wanted to take a sec to say thanks for putting this series together! That is one clean sedan you've brought back from the dead. Coming from the NE, that car is worth 6k all day long. I vote to scoop up a wagon next. Manual swap would make for some great videos! Cheers man

That thing turned out beautiful. Here's a suggestion for a "bonus episode": Go to your local wrecker and fetch a new emblem for the trunk, a new lower steering wheel cover, a C pillar cover and an ashtray cover for the passenger compartment. Plus some floor mats maybe. This would make a nice episode and would help sell the car for 500 bucks extra I think.

Hey i saw some staining on the rims. If u really want to u could use a clay bar for it. It makes it really easy to remove the staining 😁 also some light steel wool helps to polish the exhaust tips after the whool just take some metal polish and finish up looking fiiinneee

Stoner glass cleaner is the best, I can use on tinted windows & it's completely safe. BTW as far as making leather look new again Clyde's Leather dye & conditioner are 2nd to none. DIY if you were to do your seats, door panels and dash you would think you had a brand new interior! Yeah it's that good plain and simple. If you could get them on board as a sponsor, oh my. Check CLYDE'S out on sweet project car's you tube. Anyway I'm trying to help you grow this channel and help many of your subscribers as possible. wow, the 330i is looking soooooo good! you've really turned it into a sweet ride. what an amazing transformation from when you got it!! I also love the Stoner Invisible Glass and the Griot's 3-in-1 leather (you should try some Griot's Leather Restorer for really old dry leather, it's terrific). the ceramic trim shine was very good. you might want to check out Lithium Trim Serum though - it's unbelievable for trim/plastic restoration, and even works great on headlights/taillights. lubricating the door & trunk frame seals with the silicone spray is an excellent tactic, I've always done this - rubber loves it and no more squeaks. BUT there is something better --- AT-205. yup, the polymerize stuff that helps restore rubber gaskets in your engine to stop oil leaks. I don't even use it for that (it reduces the oil's ability to protect metal surfaces and separates in the oil pan within a few minutes ,after shutoff, so no thanks). what it absolutely EXCELS at is restoring anything made of rubber - just dump it in a spray bottle and you can turn back the clock on suspension and subframe bushings, steering rack bushings, rubber hoses, vacuum lines, injector seals, door seals, sunroof seals, driveline flex discs, CV boots, etc. try doing your door seals with that, let it sit overnight, and the next day you'll be amazed at how much quieter the car drives with the softer, thicker seals. just keep it away from your interior leather or clear plastics, as it can mark them if not wiped up immediately.
@DayOffDIY
@DayOffDIY Жыл бұрын
I just took a screenshot of your comment because its full of such good info! I gotta try that AT-205 stuff out! sounds too good to be true. Appreciate the info and feedback Wolfe, youve been a pleasure to have in the comments
@motorwolfe
@motorwolfe Жыл бұрын
@@DayOffDIY it is but a minor repayment compared to the pleasure I've had watching your videos sir! I'll be curious to see what you think of the AT-205. forgot to mention it's outstanding on the exterior window seals between the glass & door, which always take a real beating from UV & accumulated grime. ditto windshield seals. just can't stop geeking out over this stuff.
