I created an online video series called "As We Forgive Those," which features Immaculée. The goal of the series I want to help you see forgiveness in a new way. We start by defining what forgiveness is NOT. (It does not excuse the person for the pain they caused you. It does not mean you have to reconcile with the person.) Then I introduce you to people who went through great lengths to forgive the unforgivable. Their courage is beyond belief. And their stories will inspire you. coaching.reallifecatholic.com/forgive/

Sir, I love the talk of the lady being from Burundi. That said, this idea of Hutus and Tutsis killing each other is unbearable for me because it is very inaccurate. First, Hutu and Tutsi is quite a myth. As any Rwandan what makes a Hutu a Hutu and the reverse, you get no answer. The Rwandan genocide is one that never should have happened. The outrage of our Lady of Kibeho is understood now because the genocide in Burundi and Rwanda were political sacrifices by political elites of a certain persuasion to reconfigure the political landscape in their favour. This had among other aims destabilising Congo through invasions than would be carried from the eastern border (Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda). So it went this way. There were conditions that could have caused mass killings but not a genocide. But the genocide was ignited and allowed maximum fuel for maximum casualties. That is what was needed to change the politics of the region. So you have Tutsis being exterminated under the passive eye of an army which was almost 100/100. Pause and think: How did Tutsis perish in Burundi when they controlled completely the security forces? There was a reason. Go to Rwanda in 94, same scenario. The Rpf, controlled by the Tutsis so to say, was present and was the strongest force after the killing of the president. What did Rpf do: It refused international help allowing the bad guys as the lady says to take control of the situation. Note, just as in Burundi, Rwandan Tutsis perishing in a country where Tutsis were the dominant military, Uganda being ruled by Tutsi leaders so to say, Burundi same is a joke. Few thousand people dead was the most that could have happened under normal circumstances. Evidence: The UN and the international community never envisaged a genocide. It was not feasible unless RPF or the Tutsi army in Burundi could be part of the plan. The genocide in Burundi and Rwanda therefore happened only because the Tutsi military leaders in those countries blessed it and did not oppose it, probably played an active part of the genocide. That is undisputed for the case of Burundi and equally impossible to argue against for the Rwandan case. I understand why our Lady of Kibeho was so shocked. These were not just genocide, they were unbelievable human sacrifices for Satan where Tutsis betrayed their kins.

I don't get this denial of Tutsi survivors of the genocide whether in Burundi or Rwanda who come talking about the attacks who were perpetrated by Hutus but never about why the armies in which their relatives were serving did nothing to save them. In Burundi, an army which ate almost all the budget of the country, battalions and battalions, paracommados, planes, armoured divisions, engineering battalions, police and gendarmerie all in the hand of Tutsis stayed in the barracks while their Tutsi relatives were being slaughtered from grandparents to babies. Why do they not dare face that reality. Rwanda was pretty much the same. The Tutsi armed organisation simply has not produced a credible audit track of where they were. You don't hear stories of Kagame's men killing and capturing the killers or calling for help from Uganda which was Tutsi leadership or Burundi also Tutsi. The Tutsi genocide would only naje sense if, to take a parallel, the Jewish genocide had happened with Jewish having a military force as good as Hitlers and France being militarily under the Jews and you have Poland in same configuration. It is an insult to the Jews to relate the shoa and the Rwandan and Burundi. In the latter case, it is Tutsi military rulers who ignited the genocide and then fuelled the genocide to move from just killings to genocide.

If the lady wants answer, I suggest she ask the current president Kagame because he was the one who could stop the genocide from even happening through his forces which were stronger on field or by calling on Uganda that backed him or Burundi that was Tutsi military or the regional armies or the international community at large. Kagame was the beneficiary of the genocide and guess what, he has put in the Rwandan constitution that he may not be sued even for treason after he leave office. Everyone know why! And also before I go, Kagame sated last year that he would lock up the thousands of pilgrims that attended Kibeho shrine of the feast of the Assumption because they worship poverty. The enemty between Kagame and Our Lady is very clear

Students at Monroe Community College built a replica of the bathroom where Immaculée and the 7 other women hid. It was part of their project after reading Left to Tell. I was able to go inside the structure to feel how small it was for only one person. Immaculée was also the keynote speaker in my hometown at the Catholic Women's Conference in 2017.

I watched this interview & felt a chill down my spine...we Catholics need to cling to our Rosaries as it is only the Blessed Mother who can draw us close to her Son...currently there is so much of hate & division across the globe...so like Immaculee says we need to pray always, every single day!

This was so hard to listen to. I had to do it in parts, yet I could not stop until the end even though I already know her story. Today it just seems so close to home. I have had my bouts with hatred married to an emotionally abusive husband, and I have had my victory of forgiveness toward him and others in my path. When I seek to forgive, God always first brings me to repentance where I see how I have offended His kind love and goodness with my unforgiveness. But this video still rends my heart because I see things going so bad every day all around me, and I know the war isn't over. I must keep forgiving; I can only do it with God. Her story is so powerful and essential. Thank you, Chris, for this interview about REAL WARFARE and only love wins.

Great guest. I've read most of Immaculee's books and saw many of her interviews. She's such a wonderful spokesperson for prayer and for forgiveness. We could all use that in our life. One question I would ask her, if I could is, what she thinks is the reason people didn't listen to Mary when they had 12 years to follow her instructions?

Thank you, thank you, thank you Lord God Almighty for leading you both and everyone you work with to share this story. It's your first video I have truelly watched, I usually just watch the shorts and I thank the Lord, he led me where I needed to be. I have been asking him to heal me from my shame an unforgiveness towards myself of my past sinful life. The words in the Lords prayer that we will be forgiven as we forgive others also also stood out when I began to really reflect on the prayer, and I always turn to God to help me forgive others and he freedom from it is truelly only from God. However, wil my self and knowing the hurt and pain I have caused I have been struggling to not be shameful, even after confession and knowing that the Lord forgets our sins and that I am not trusting him and being prideful to think there is something to big for him to solve. I really needed to hear those words, as much as I have heard them so much: 'Forgive them for they know not what they do'. The Lords grace covered me as I heard that. I am also them, even in my own life, I have been victim and perpetrator to my own sins, and the Lord calls us to forgive all who trespass against us, no exception, I am also worthy of my own forgiveness. All I can say is Thank You God ❤❤❤

"You don't have to know how to do everything." That was a beautiful line at 41:30 and I believe in that. If you think about it, Mother Mary said her Fiat not knowing what will happen. Abraham the same, not knowing how his descendants will be so many like the stars. The point is not figuring things out before saying yes (kinda like saying to God, "OK. I know I have to forgive. But let me try to list the pros and cons, or maybe to strategize how, or research the scientific benefits of letting go). Just say yes to whatever He is calling you, and ask Him to help you. After all, He is God the saviour, and we're not.

Around min 13 ... when she's talking about two tribes being pitted against each other, on the back of the idea that Our Lady's message was really for everyone in the world.... made me think of democrats & republicans here in the US. I really like the idea of seeing the other group as our brothers, and returning to God so that our disagreements don't lead to wars

Even in Kubeho when our Lady asked the visionaries and other children to pray the rosary, she didn't just ask catholics. All children protestants and Muslims were asked to pray. She told them, you are all my flowers. We love divisions , the heaven is not interested in that. Out Lady of Kibeho pray for the world
