@@PhatallyFlawless She didn’t show integrity, she showed a basic misunderstanding of the difference between racism and racial prejudice. Racism was invented by Europeans to excuse their colonisation of the rest of the world, by making themselves culturally, morally and racially superior to the peoples they conquered. Until black people start doing that to other races, they cannot properly be described as racist. They can be, and some of them are, however, extremely racially prejudiced. Racism is a systemic thing, the racist is someone who uses the system to benefit themselves as a part of the dominant race. But being racist and racially prejudiced are not the same thing, even if they do overlap in some ways. But don’t get me wrong, both are equally abhorrent.

What you are defining is not racism instead you are defining "discrimination." Racism is a BELIEF. That is a thing you do with your mind regardless if it is intentional or not. This belief, regardless of how it is acquired, is the only element that defines the "what" part of racism. The belief is when someone thinks one's own race is either SUPERIOR or INFERIOR to another race. This has NOTHING to do with discrimination. Discrimination is the INTENTIONAL act of saying something is okay for one person to do, to have, or to believe something and then prevent another person from doing exactly the same. It has NOTHING to do with race. Those are the foundations of what you are trying to say. Yes, one can discriminate based on race, but they can also discriminate against someone's height (ex. Six Flag rides), sex (ex. restroooms), origin (ex. immigrants), religion (ex. Muslims), etc. So, discrimination is not only based on someone's race and it has nothing to do with one singular reason someone discriminates. Racsim, however, is only related to one's race and one's belief. You can be racsit without discriminating against anyone's race. For example, believing you can get a job at Google because you are Black and then you never persue that job. You didn't discriminate against anyone, you just didn't try. Because it is a belief of superiority or inferiority, a person simply can be racist because they believe that whites have some advantage in society that blacks do not. That describes the belief of inferiority that blacks demonstrate ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME! with nothing to support this claim but cruel unfounded rhetoric.

@emeraldshieldacademy5 ай бұрын
@@felishaspersonalmail4953 Racism is not systemic. It only exists in the racist's mind. But you do have a point. There are laws that help keep back people; there's affirmative action laws, hate speech laws, and now laws that prohibit local governments in California from enacting laws that require an ID to vote. All of these laws are meant to keep people back and some of them are based on race. The problem is that most do not recognize or can't recognize that whenever one race held back to accomodate another, that is called DISCRIMINATION. Saying it's okay for a minority race to enter college just because of their color when whites have to prove themeselves is discrimating against whites. The basis for doing this is a racist ideology because they passed affirmative action laws by convincing people to believe that minorities couldn't get into college of their choice on their own merits because of the color of their skin. Which is literally the definition of racism.

Saying only white people can be racist is racist
@NothingSekret6 ай бұрын
It is a racist concept. Imagine, I'm walking down the road and get called a honkey. Shit doesn't bother me at all but that fuck who yelled that is under the mindset that "only whiteys" are racists, while spewing racists rhetoric. Now, do a tiny bit of research and see all the black people, white people and other races attacking black people who wake up to the lefts garbage and call them "uncle Tom" or "porch monkey" because they have self worth and want to see everyone succeed that's a us citizen. It all comes from the left and largely the "woke" section of the left. Not once will any other race be treated poorly while attending Trump or Republican events, but you show up to a liberal event with trump gear on, you're verbally accosted and physically assaulted until you leave or comply. Wake up. Our lives and country depend on it more than you know.

If you know and understand what racism is then you’ll know without a doubt that no one is exempt from being a racist
@AyDe935 ай бұрын
I agree no one is exempt, but i contest that there is something to “know and understand”! It’s defined in the dictionary pretty clearly, it’s not a question that should be debated as it’s got a factual answer! It’s worrying that people think there’s a conversation to be had here
@jadsadd5 ай бұрын
It’s funny you say that because you clearly don’t know what a racist is… what she described is a bigot, very different from a racist
@arabellapearl99252 ай бұрын
Exactly. One time on my softball team I was having a conversation with my teammates and I said, “Well black people can be racist towards white people. Anyone can be racist” and they laughed in my face and then proceeded to talk bad about me behind my back for the rest of the season. All I did was state a simple truth. Anyone can be racist!

The perfect definition of racism. Treating someone differently because of the color of their skin. Pure and simple.
@ocbeachgir12946 ай бұрын
That would also apply to DEI

Yeah, it gets annoying when the definition is for some reason is not as clear as it should be
@EVL64796 ай бұрын
yeah, its been in the dictionary for a long time. Unfortunately, schools stopped using dictionaries and started using DEI.

They use a new definition of racism which is prejudice+power=racism. It's a made up nonsense term so they can justify hatred towards white people
@trl28285 ай бұрын
It is that pure and simple. That has always been the definition of racism.

Black on white racism is almost certainly more common than white on black racism in 2024. It's not only culturally acceptable but often culturally expected.

I’m white. My father passed away when I was young. My mom remarried a black man. And he was a pretty good man overall. But guess what would happen when his family came over? ‘White Boy’ this and ‘White Boy’ that. ALL THE TIME! And they stole my stuff! I don’t need videos and or examples. I lived it firsthand!!! This was the late 90’s. I was a teenager.
