It's sad that Betty White is gone. I loved watching The Golden Girls. We should all be grateful to have been able to experience those 4 wonderful actresses. May they Rest In Peace.

Bettie White is an American treasure. Not only was she in showbuziness for over 50 years, but she had a great sense of humour. Watch certain episodes of Family Guy. 😅😅

Mary Steenburgen …. gorgeous! Betty White …. Such a role model! And Sandra herself also so fabulous! She threw herself into such a baddie role … and did it well! Loved the movie and watch it often! All the boys in the movie weren’t half bad either ❤️❤️

I had two best friends, whom I always thought were struggling artists because one lived in squalor and the other lived extremely modestly with his boyfriend. I basically paid for every single thing whenever we went out but never really thought much about it because they were like brothers to me. As I said, I always assumed they were just struggling artists. That is, til the day I went to meet the parents of the one who was closest to me. We drove up north the California coast (or rather I drove because he didn’t own a car) until we arrived at his home, which was a beautifully landscaped brick and iron gated rambling estate set on a cliffside overlooking the ocean. I was absolutely dumbstruck. It seemed to glow brighter than the sunset behind it, and looked like something straight out of a movie or a dream. As we were walking up to the front door it opened and a woman whom I assumed was his mother rushed out to greet him. It wasn’t his mother. It was their live in housekeeper. Although he was half Persian/half German, he grew up as a rich white boy. My other friend, I came to learn, wasn’t just rich, he was filthy rich or at least his family was. They had generational wealth and a family name that was synonymous with money on the East Coast. They even had a hospital wing and a school named after them. His boyfriend once described my friend’s family home as having a tree lined driveway that ran 2 miles up to the mansion and had stables, a ten car garage, a lake, a pond, and even the original slave houses on its property. He told me the full staff that ran the property had their own living quarters. I didn’t even bother asking how many acres it sat on but I’m sure it was bigger than a SuperWalmart. I grew strong friendship with the parents of my California friend. He resented growing up with money but sure as hell didn’t resent me paying for everything. I never got to meet the parents of my other friend or go to his childhood mansion, but I learned that his parents didn’t give him access to money not because of his lifestyle, but because he was extremely irresponsible. He is written in their will and will be given a large sum, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen anytime soon because I am told that his parents are super healthy and they’re probably going to live a very long life.
