Yes. We miss her so much. I remember during lockdown the internet requested a 24 hour guard for Betty! We had lost so much and could not bear to lose her also. But she was fine! Whew! For those that haven’t seen the movie which appears to be a lot. She is an insufferable boss that’s Canadian, she’s going to be deported so she marries her coworker for the green card. Like most Rom-Coms, she’s insufferable but that grows as a person over the course of the movie and ends up actually falling in love. theres a woman in the UK years ago. SHe won the lotto and laid low for a while. The first pictures of her came out shopping, in cheap primark clothes and shopping food at Lidl. Well put! You know how many times I've tried to convey the message, maybe not using those words, yet ppl still brag about "that's why I'm wearing real jewelry, that's why my car is new, " I'm life sirs, what does your financial portfolios look like. I'm so tired of seeing the young ones flashing photos of their biweekly paychecks! And for what! Images that no one cares about. I even have family who go around taking pictures of fans of cash and be homeless. Another cashed a check, only to be robbed of it. Like why y'all keep doing this flaunting of fake wealth?

Bro, I've known and worked with women like her character my entire life. They think that they won some lotto at birth that entitles them to some utopian future, when in reality, if they live to see 45, they end up in a trailer park with hoarding issues so bad a hypnotist and psychiatrist couldn't fix their condition, they have so many cats you can smell the inside of the house from the front door, and their socially inept as fuck. It's pathetic as shit tbh

I had two best friends, whom I always thought were struggling artists because one lived in squalor and the other lived extremely modestly with his boyfriend. I basically paid for every single thing whenever we went out but never really thought much about it because they were like brothers to me. As I said, I always assumed they were just struggling artists. That is, til the day I went to meet the parents of the one who was closest to me. We drove up north the California coast (or rather I drove because he didn’t own a car) until we arrived at his home, which was a beautifully landscaped brick and iron gated rambling estate set on a cliffside overlooking the ocean. I was absolutely dumbstruck. It seemed to glow brighter than the sunset behind it, and looked like something straight out of a movie or a dream. As we were walking up to the front door it opened and a woman whom I assumed was his mother rushed out to greet him. It wasn’t his mother. It was their live in housekeeper. Although he was half Persian/half German, he grew up as a rich white boy. My other friend, I came to learn, wasn’t just rich, he was filthy rich or at least his family was. They had generational wealth and a family name that was synonymous with money on the East Coast. They even had a hospital wing and a school named after them. His boyfriend once described my friend’s family home as having a tree lined driveway that ran 2 miles up to the mansion and had stables, a ten car garage, a lake, a pond, and even the original slave houses on its property. He told me the full staff that ran the property had their own living quarters. I didn’t even bother asking how many acres it sat on but I’m sure it was bigger than a SuperWalmart. I grew strong friendship with the parents of my California friend. He resented growing up with money but sure as hell didn’t resent me paying for everything. I never got to meet the parents of my other friend or go to his childhood mansion, but I learned that his parents didn’t give him access to money not because of his lifestyle, but because he was extremely irresponsible. He is written in their will and will be given a large sum, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen anytime soon because I am told that his parents are super healthy and they’re probably going to live a very long life.
