When my younger son & his wife told us they were expecting again, my husband & I were so excited. They already had a daughter, so we were hoping for a grandson. A few weeks later I had a knee replacement. I was still feeling kind of woozy when they came to see me that evening. They said they had some news to tell us. I couldn’t imagine what it could be since they already had shared the news of the pregnancy. It’s good I was in the hospital bed, because I swear if I’d been standing I would have fallen over in shock. Our DIL had seen her dr that day & had an ultrasound. It wasn’t just one baby, they were expecting twins! We were all so excited & when the babies arrived, it was twin boys! I will never forget the day they told us , it was the last thing we ever expected, but such joyful news. The boys turned 16 in July & now when I hug them I’m underneath their chins!!
