Another thing to note, there are multiple unsatisfying plot endings there. Like the flower girl don't know what happened to her and of course, who can forget Yuko, the artificial girl, experimented to be an esper, like a 90's elfen lied, who never had a human connection. What happened to her? We need closure about her.

There was an AMV someone made using parts of this scene, including her transformation, and I loved it. Had never seen or heard of this anime before. And years later I cannot find it anymore. I'm pretty sure it's been removed from KZbin. It had a title something like "anime robot catgirl" or something. Wish I'd saved it back then.

ok, two things. 1st, I don't like that the final villain is someone who didn't even have a name, despite being literally nuku nuku's cat twin sister. She doesn't have a personality. And all in all, this is the main problem of last minute villains. 2nd thing: Ryonusuke's mother should've died in that initial explosion created by nuku nuku twin(IT IS FRUSTRATING Because she DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A NAME!!). I mean the guy who activated her also DOESN'T HAVE A NAME!!! WTH!

Funny thing is that the mecha designer got his start out on Southern Cross (the second part of Robotech). And one of his unused designs from Robotech II: The Sentinels got reused in Red Photon Zillion (which was also animated by Tatsunoko Production).
