Dr Jodi’s my doctor, she’s the only keto doc in Hawaii. Just had heart testing at Dr Markarian’s office (her colleague), no problem in my arteries. Was worried with my LDL 505, will test again next year. She’s great to work with.

Very interesting interview especially, about the big phrama portion. I appreciate Dr Jodi for taking the time to do this interivew & being so forthright about her past & handing out Rx. She has found the light and is going great work now. Wishing you all the best Dr Jodi & lots of Aloha 🌺 Before just handing out the diet of keto & carnviore to patietns It's very important that doctors know about Hemochromatosis when suggesting keto/carnviore. This is iron overload issue and if you have the gene mutation (which a very very very high percentage of Northern Europeans including Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Swedish, Vikings etc & descendants living around the world today have this major health issue) you must be careful about eating meat & need to get tested regularly for Iron Ferritin, Iron Satuation etc. In fact it is estimated just in Ireland & descendants that live world wide alone that 1 in 5 people have these mutation iron overload genes & 1 in 85 people will get iron overload causing major health issues. In the USA it is estimated that 1 in 200 have these iron over load Hemochromatosis gene mutation causing iron overload. Both myself & family member have major iron overload now from eating only red meat (steaks & hamburger). Now we have switched to chicken, pork, fish, shrimp, scallops (heme) & veggies (non heme) to help lower the massive iron increase that was caused by the red meat. Also, taking binders to get rid of the iron in the liver & other organs and blood transfusions. Dr Joni PLEASE look this health issue up. It is VERY common despite carnviore doctors down playing this aspect of iron overload issue. This can cause high overload and cause major issues with heart, liver, spleen, etc I still believe in the keto/carnviore diet however I wish that I would have known about Hemechromatosis prior to starting by all the carnivore channels especially, the doctor carnviore/keto channels. high iron literally rust your organs, will cause heart attacks, massive fatigue, overall sickness etc etc. PLEASE look into this aspect. There are millions & millions of Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Swedish, Vikings world wide and all the descendants that are carriers of Hemochromatosis that will suffer without most doctors every connecting the dots that they have high iron from carnivore/keto without testing prior to starting this diet & regular testing and it's important also to get a genetic testing done. In Ireland they spell hemochromatosis with an A. Ireland has a lot of info on this blood disorder. Just passing this on so that Doctors understand this aspect of keto/carnviore diet to help their patients. Take care. Aloha

Loved listening to this one! Please bring her back again. My son even listened with me and found it intriguing. He is very supportive, as is his twin sister. I live in Washington and a doctor told me about you Dr. Baker.

I would love to interview with Dr Baker. I have so much stories to share of my health journey. I had suffered tremendously in my early ages but I became a personal trainer at 51.

Sad to hear that we’ve poisoned paradise, Maui. It’s a great model to have a low carb pharmacist working with a cardiologist.

16:30 Bayer bought out Monsanto. Only the federal reserve is bigger. And this likely hurts their bottom line as well.

I think it’s a vanity thing . Dr Baker is the star of his show ! Dave Mac (no carb life) is the best ,his interviewees are left to tell their story uninterrupted . Dave only interjects to guide his subjects when they lose their way or to learn particular facts !
