And I am just disgusted by people who want to save the relationship after hearing their partner wants to screw around with a bunch of people. There is no relationship left to save!!

Besides, stuff like this usually only works if one is a man; especially since woman are the ones who initiate open relationships/marriages in the first place. It's ironic too, because the woman who initiate open relationships/marriages are usually the same ones who initiate for divorce whenever things get "too hard" or "Too boring". If only we had artificial incubators that contained cloned eggs from these woman for to harvest and f3rtilize without them, things would be 10 to 100x better for society and the world. No child support for woman, no alimony for woman, no being manipulated by woman in court systems; just a man and his child(via artificial incubation of course) enjoying life in peace!

"If they could make it work, why couldn't we?" Because they weren't making it work, it was covering up clear deficiencies in their relationship. She pushed her husband into trying this even though there was nothing fundamentally wrong with their marriage. He was an idiot for agreeing to this, but her emotional manipulation was absolutely disgusting. Forcing an open marriage on her husband, was like hitting a pane of glass with a mallet, and then expecting to be able to put it back together with no flaws. It was never going to work.

"I knew exactly what I had. I just thought I deserved more". Selfish person right there. She never loved or respected Will. All she cared about was living an illusion that wasn't real; and in the end, she became a damsel in her own distress!

As soon as they ask for an Open Marriage, they have already cheated or have someone in mind to cheat with, it's never a spur of the moment decision without options already lined up. At this point he just need to end the marriage, because they will either cheat if you say no or harbor resentment for your unwillingness to try something new. Either way you're better off without them. Open marriages cause more divorces then improve them.

So it seems even doormats have a breaking point. This guy's wife was already in love with Jake. If someone openly offers you something, it's not a question it's a request that has already been established. 😂

First thought that came to mind reading her side of this story? Shallow. A woman who disrespects her husband and marriage. Someone who just can't be happy and grateful for what she has. Open marriages are nothing but relationships on a ticking time bomb. Stupid, foolish, delusional people. Carrie didn't really regret losing Will, but rather losing Jake. Actually, Will really lost Carrie as soon as she started questioning if this was all there was to their marriage. Once that restlessness took hold Carrie was gone. There is absolutely no doubt she and Jake would've ended up together, leaving behind their marriages, had Jake and Laura not moved to Dubai.

Serves her right. Why do these women always become so hypocritical when they come up with open relationships and freak out when there boyfriends/husbands start seeing other women it’s pathetic but in carrie’s case since Jake basically dumped her since he and his homewrecker wife Laura are going overseas Carrie now wants to close the marriage just to keep will as a fall back guy but unfortunately for her will ain’t taking her crap no more and planned ahead gathering evidence of her and Laura’s involvements since Carrie tried to paint him as the bad guy only for him to have the high ground and shut her up. She really does hate herself but quite frankly she’s a cheater through and through like she didn’t felt no guilt doing this to will and noticed how she’s has Jake on her mind but not will

im just shaking my head - theres nothing to say - * the perspective of two is interesting - it is usually the perspective of the one being cheated on and they always dont know everything - her admissions to setting up jake first for action - going on dates - and sleeping with him all before the husband agreed - and the real truth about how she felt and didnt care about his wife or her own husband - and the end where she admits to him being exactly right about her feelings and motivations - even though she said something else to him = briilliant stuff
