Fwiw, no one else I know at nicks age owns either except people hooked up from family or just lucky. Everyone is fucked, tbh if anything, being younger means you might have more time to enjoy things if we ever fix them. Being older only helps if you were at the right place in time to get your foot in the door before it closed. Whether the door shut in your face, or it's been shut for decades doesn't actually really make a difference, but being younger means more time to figure it out :)

Shooooot Emi only less than half a year older than me and this age feels like is where it’s still starting to be okay with feeling kind of old but in general we’re still pretty young but most of us have our shit together at this point and yeah it’d be cool to be 18 or 21 again but only if we could go back in time as well because rn we’re much better off plus people born in and very close to 98 are the best generation because at least we still had a good childhood and all this technology and all the good trends came out at the appropriate ages like we got to experience all the generations of iPods and cellphones and social media without being too old or too young and just have fun with it we also got to have fun with some of the more cringy fun trends while we were still young enough not to gaf and by the time we became powerful young adults and teens we had the best og trill shit to express ourselves
