Today I’ll be using and reviewing Shea Moisture's Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow, & Restore Treatment Masque.I've always wanted to try out the shea moisture hair mask but couldn't get my hands on it until now, so stay tuned for my first impression and figuring this out!

@@VanessaFerran I heard it’s good but the mask you just used is the same price and also has protein cause it’s a strengthen and restore masque and also looks like your hair may need a little moisture and the masque provides that as well and on top of that they are the same price but the price one you have has sooooo much more product but of course it is up to you

I great tip I have for more definition is detangling in the shower with conditioner! I used to brush outside of the shower too but it caused too much breakage and loosened my curl pattern. Also so glad that you did this vid cos I think I might need some extra protein into my hair routine!

I have the same tipe of hair as yours and it was as long as yours as well but last week i went to the hair salon and ask for my ends to be trimmed only my ends and omg i ended with my hair above my shoulders 😭 i was almost crying cause my hair grows very slowly it took me more than 2 year to have my hair that long i didn't even wanted to look at the mirror

Oh wow! My mom was from Colombia, too! She was from Barranquilla. What area of.Colombia are you from? You hair looks AMAZING! I have naturally wavy hair that I used to blow dry straight every day. Ugh I stopped blow drying and straight ironing a year ago -- except for special occasions; and my hair is so much healthier now. However, I do heavily highlight my hair, so I am always looking for new protein treatments. I am going to try this .Sheamoisture masque, thanks to your video! :) I just sub'd!

@@VanessaFerran Oh so cool you are from Barranquilla! :) My mom was always so proud of not only being a Colombiana, but also of being a costeña. Everyone on her side of the family was always so happy, lively, dramatically emotional, and........LOUD. LOL!! Which is where I get it from. haha And omg how she loved to dance cumbia, merengue, etc. :) I only visited Colombia once, as a 5yo child, but I still remember the warm and generous people, the gorgeous beaches, and the delicious foods: arroz con coco, carne asada, sancocho, platanos, cocadas, sugar cane, yuca, and the amazing arepas! YUM Btw, I bought the Sheamoisture masque and I love it! I just ordered the shampoo and conditioner! I can't wait to see more of your videos. :)

I use the protein treatment every month once and I’ve type 1 straight hair…can I know Can I use this mask on my hair and how’ll I use this mask? Should I use it twice in a month? Or something else? Or it okay to not to use that ?

Honestly I just use it when I feel like my hair needs it. I was using it way too often before and it made it unbalanced so whenever I straighten it or dye it I know it definitely needs a protein mask but now that my hair has become a bit healthier, I use the one in the blue jar from Shea moisture; the one that has yogurt in it. It has both protein and moisture

I wouldn’t use this one for dry hair, I’d use the manuka honey mask from Shea moisture that comes in a brown jar .. it’s amazingly moisturizing ❤️👌🏻
